Checking Checkbox Enables Check in Another Checkbox

I have Screen1 and Screen2.

Screen1 has and Edit form with numerous Checkbox controls. Screen2 has a PDF form template onto which I have placed several Checkbox controls.

Goal: If the user checks the box in Screen1 a checkmark also appears in the associated Checkbox on Screen2.

I am using the following formula, but the checkmark is not appearing in the Screen2 Checkbox. However, if I use the same formula in a Checkbox on Screen1, adjacent to the other checkbox the checkmark does appear.
     - If(Personnel_Could_Fall_CheckBox_DataCardValue.Value=true,true,false)

Screen1 - I am using the formula in 'Trip Hazard'. If I check 'Personnel Could Fall' the mark also appears in 'Trip Hazard'.

Screen2 - I am using the same formula. A check mark should be showing in 'Personnel could fall' but isn't. What am I missing?

Firstly your formula just needs to be this on Screen1 (you do not need if/true/false)

Personnel_Could_Fall_CheckBox_DataCardValue.Value

however, what is the Default of the checkbox on screen 2 ?

The formula you provided is what I put in the default for the test checkbox on Screen2.

I also put it in an adjacent box on Screen1.

When I check the primary box the adjacent box on Sreen1 goes true and shows a check, however the box on Screen2, that has the same formula, shows no change.

Is it a Classic or Modern control and where is the second checkbox situated (in a form/gallery or just on the screen). If just on the screen with a Classic control, it works fine for me here in testing (as it should). You could try setting a Variable OnSelect of the first one

Set(
   varChecked,
   Self.Value
)

and then the Default of the second box

varChecked

How do I determine the difference between classic and modern?

Screen1 has a New Form with checkboxes.

Screen2 has and image control in which is a picture of an inspection form that has checkboxes.

I have overlayed checkboxes onto that inspection form. Each box is an individual control.

I have tried 'ControlName.Value' and an UpdateContext formula in the Screen2 checkbox, neither changed the Screen2 box true when the Screen1 box is checked.

If you have not enabled Modern Controls, then it is a Classic Control - also if .Value is valid, it must be one.

You did not answer the question on where the second screen check box was situated. Also why did you  you UpdateContext - you need Set() as per my post if the other control is on a different screen.

Figured out the issue.

The Screen1 Form1 was set to DefaultMode.Edit. When I switch to DefaultMode.New, the checkbox function worked from Screen1 to Screen2.
