Collection only stores up to 5000 records

I created a collection which in increments pulls the records from a SharePoint list, however, since going over the 5000 list threshold I the collection does not pull any records past 5000.

 

Would like to know if this a Collection limitation or could there be another issue that is occurring.

The only other reasoning I can determine why this issue is occurring is due to the error message on the SharePoint's default view.

Update: This was the cause for the issue and now I am able to retrieve more that 5000 records. Did try to filter the list to get less that 5000 records but it seem I also had to removed the option to show the Totals for columns

We can save upto 2000 records into collection. Please refer the below code to iterate through  more than 2000 records.

I could be wrong but the code looks like it works the exact same way as the code I have in my question. The only difference comes in with the code below which returns a blank collection

WebUsersLoad_STG is different sharepoint list with ID column (increment by 1) to maintain incremental counter for iterating through the records by 2k. e.g. if 10k records in your collection then ID will 10k/2k =5

Seems like the code you suggested works similar to what I have in my question. However I tried it and the collection is returning 5000 rows. Not sure why it is capping at that number.

Hi I have read this article and it only seem to tackle the issue on SharePoint and not when loading 5000+ records into into a PowerApps application.

Could you please check your sharepoint listview, it's not showing more than 5k  that's why PowerApps also showing same.

Can confirm given that the message below is displayed when I open the SharePoint list. I can confirm that I am also looking at the default view.

Summer of Solutions | Week 4 Results | Winners will be posted on July 24th

We are excited to announce the Summer of Solutions Challenge!   This challenge is kicking off on Monday, June 17th and will run for (4) weeks.  The challenge is open to all Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio & Power Pages) community members. We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions in the Forums to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.    Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”)   - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024   Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods.  You must enter into each weekly Entry Period separately.   How to Enter: We invite you to participate in a quest to provide "Accepted Solutions" to as many questions as you can.
