ComboBox DefaultSelectedItems issue

Hello Everyone,

I was try to get data from SharePoint list choice column and show it in a Edit Form combobox, but every time I want change the value from SharePoint to a different value it changes to the DefaultSelectedItems value.

In my gallery I have a timer that runs constantly, that at the end of the timer it use this formula.

Set(varBodyText, ThisItem)

In the DefaultSelectedItems of the ComboBox I use this formula.

varBodyText.ChoiceColumn

I hope anyone can help me.

try this in your onvisible of screen for example:

If(IsBlank(varComboBoxSelection), Set(varComboBoxSelection, varBodyText.ChoiceColumn), varComboBoxSelection)

defaultselecteditems:

varComboBoxSelection

onchange:

Set(varComboBoxSelection, ComboBox.Selected)

please be aware to rename to your needs.

I am getting an error when I use this expression.

If(IsBlank(varComboSelection), Set(carComboxSelection, varBodyText.Countries), varComboxSelection)

varComboSelection isn't recognized

in the Set function you set the variable to carComboxSelection. chabge to varComboxSelection

and reference the formula with the same name everywhere

On the OnVisible property of the screen I used 

If(IsBlank(varBodyText), Set(varComboBoxSelection, varBodyText.Countries), varComboBoxSelection)

On the ComboBox I am using this variable in the DefaultSelectedItems property

you worte that varcomboselection is not recognized. thats true it can not be recognized if you set the name to varcomboboxselection.

@mmbr1606 - I typed the variables name incorrectly.

The choice I choose on the ComboBox remains after I after I reset the form and doesn't show initial the value it should from the SharePoint list.
