ComboBox items not showing on mobile devices

I have a cascade combobox on my canvas app, where the selection of the first combobox (a collection of buildings) affects the items shown on the second combobox (a collection of locations filtered by the selected building 100<locations>3000). 

On the browser these are working well, but on my mobile devices the events of the combobox don't seem to be triggering, I tried printing the selected value from the first combobox on a label to verify, and nothing seems to get selected. 

I've had previously issues with some functions on the datasources of controls only in mobile devices, like distinct, or sequence, has anyone experience similar issues and workarounds?

p.s. I am not using the modern controls

in the past few days/weeks problems workig with mobile device have been reported here. it started with the attachment control. there the solution was to revert back to an older version of powerapps. maybe this is also an issue related to mobile device.

have u tried to pick an older version already?

I have got the same issue on the iOS mobile version of the app. Combo Boxes on seemingly random screens are displaying strangely with different choice menus and the content is not being recognised. I have changed to drop-downs and setting a Variable OnChange and using that.

😞 I've tried the dropdown, I've tried setting a variable to the selected item on select And on change just in case, I've tried reading from the selected item directly, and no response from any of those actions.

I did change the authoring version to an older version but same behaviour.

It is the iOS App version, not the Power Apps release version that is the issue in my case as the users who have not updated their iPads have no issues.

Oh interesting. It's really unfortunate, I cannot test it, all our devices are running 17 arealdy, but if this is the case I assume there will be a fix soon enough. I realised the cascade is irrelevant, it's the triggers on the onSelect and onChange that are not being called, and the reading out of the Combobox.Selected.Value is not accessible either, rendering the apps impossible to use.

As I mentioned, I have done a workaround by setting a Variable OnChange and then using that instead of the Combo Box content. Not ideal but is is all working again. BTW - it is not the IOS version, but the Power Apps App for iOS version that is the issue.

Hi Warren, I understood thanks, I apreciate your help, maybe I wasn't clear enough.
I have tried this, neither the onChange or onSelect are working, it's impossible to read out of the comboboxes. 

I have tested three different things, on the first image running on the browser, I have three labels that are being set, one with reading directly from the combobox with Combobox.Selected.Value, the second one is using a variable I set on the onSelect property of the combobox, where I assign the value of the selection, on the third one a variable set on the onChange property where I assign the record of the selection, and I print out the value of the variable. 
The mobile version is basically ignoring the existance of the combobox. 
I have replaced all my controls, tried a new screen and nothing.

In case anyone falls on this thread, I created a completely new app that looks and behaves exactly the same and its working. Same authoring version, same settings, but the combobox looks different when selecting it (addmitedly  worse) but it works. 

Yes, I checked all settings on modern controls. I was also using the exact contols. Everything looked seemingly identical, even though it clearly was not. 

So my solution was, create a new app 😞
