Concat a lookup column based on another lookup column

Hello all,

  I am building my first power app and after spending an hour on google I have come up short with this one. I have a helper table called Job_to_BLDG with two lookup columns so I can assign a Building in a BLDG table to a JOBS table. I also have a variable var_selected_Job. What I am looking to do is to use Concat to show only the Buildings that exist in the Job_to_BLDG table where the Lookup_job_to_BLDG.'Job Name' field equals var_selected_Job. See below for an example of data contained in Job_to_BLDG.

Index (This is auto Num)	BLDG_Lookup (Look up field to table BLDG)	Lookup_job_to_BLDG (Lookup Field to table JOBS)
1001	10	Job 1
1002	11	Job 2
1003	15	Job 1
1004	26	Job 3

If I have the Var_selected_job set to Job 1, I need a way to have a text field output: 10,15.

Hi @gizmobrat ,

According to your description, you have two LookUp Column in your table and you want to select the Lookup_job_to_BLDG and combine the BLDG_LookUp to Text .

Here are the steps you can refer to :
(1)This is my test data:
BLDG Table:

JOBS Table:

TestTable:

(2)Then i create a combo box to get the Var_selected_job in your side .

Combobox-Items:

Choices(TestTables.cr667_Lookup_job_to_BLDG).cr667_jobsname

We can add a button to get the combine text ,Button-OnSelect:
Set(Data  ,Concat( Filter( TestTables , Lookup_job_to_BLDG.JOBSName in ComboBox1.SelectedItems).cr667_BLDG_Lookup ,ThisRecord.BLDG_Lookup.BLDGName,",")   );

Then we can put the Data in the Label-Text , the result is as follows:

@gizmobrat You can use concat Function like below

below example filter TransLine and concat the sold quantity filed and show as notification, please modify table name and filter column as per your app.

Notify(
Concat(Filter(TransLine,TransactionNumber = "1"),Quantity,","),NotificationType.Information);

Thanks for the help. I was able to remove the combo box as I already have a variable set on another screen. Therefore, I was able to place the following code directly into the text field.

Concat(Filter(Job_to_BLDGS,crb66_Lookup_job_to_BLDG.'Job Name' in Var_Selected_Job).crb66_BLDG_Lookup,ThisRecord.BLDG_Lookup.BLDG,", ")
