I have two galleries from the same datasource.
Gallery1 = All Data
Gallery2 = Filtered list (made two galleries b/c the overview info displayed will be different)
Was following the advice from this post: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps/One-display-form-for-multiple-galleries/m-p/...
Gallery > Details
"For example, you can have each gallery navigate to the Display Form Page like so: Navigate( 'DisplayFormPage', None, {View: ThisItem}) Then have the Items in your Display Form = View.
The result is that I was able to click on the "Detail Button" from either of the Galleries and have them go to the correct record in the Details screen. HOWEVER
Details Screen > Edit Screen
"having the navigate command say something along the lines of Navigate('Edit Page', None, {Edit: View}). Then have the selected item of the Edit_Form on that page be Edit."
I changed the "edit icon" on the details screen to the first part and no issues or error. When I changed the Edit_Form item to say Edit I get an error "invalid formula. Expected a value compatible with datasource"
I posted a question on that thread but it is several years old so not sure anyone is still looking at it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @barkir ,
Firstly, you have accepted your original post as the solution - this will be confusing.
Now to your issue. The reason you will have issues with the trash can code is that it will delete whatever is selected in Gallery 1. If nothing has been selected, I suspect this will be the first record.
Easy to fix - set a Variable (call it whatever you want - I will use vGallNo) when you navigate to one of the galleries. So for Gallery 2, put at the end of the present code
Set(vGallNo,2)
and the same for Gallery 1.
Your delete code would then be - (not totally sure on the last bit)
RemoveIf(
['Coverage'],
If(
vGallNo=1,
BrowseGallery1.Selected,
BrowseGallery2.Selected
)
);
If(
IsEmpty(Errors(['Coverage'],
If(
VGallNo=1,
BrowseGallery1.Selected,
BrowseGallery2.Selected
),
Back()
)
Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.
Hi @barkir ,
You are saying the view/edit form has the one data source, but can display a different record depending on which gallery it is selected from?
What is the Item property of this form? This should be fairly easy to fix if the above is true.
Not sure if this will help but this is a visual representation of what I have done.
Thanks @barkir ,
I need the Item property of both the Detail and Edit screen - I believe the solution may lie there.
Sorry newbie so maybe I am missing something you need. There is no "Item" selection in the dropdown when I click on either DetailScreen or EditScreen. However as I mentioned, DetailForm = view and Editform = Edit.
@WarrenBelz not sure if I was supposed to tag you in my response so doing it now. Thanks.

Hi @barkir ,
Glad you found it.
I actually meant Form not Screen - my error. I am probably in a different time zone to you as well 7:00 Friday morning here so I have just got to this now.
Thanks @WarrenBelz might need to create a new ticket because you solve one problem and another is created.
In my details screen I have a "Trash Icon" which on select says Remove(['Coverage'], BrowseGallery1.Selected; If (IsEmpty(Errors(['Coverage'], BrowseGallery1.Selected)), Back())
If I go from the BrowseGallery1 into the details screen of a record I can delete it.
If I go from the BrowseGallery2 (my filtered list) screen into the details screen it causes some issues
