Hello,
Here's the turn of events.
I have an app with a flow connected to a button. To make things simple, the flow will send out an email. So at this point, everything works and I'm able to send the email with no problem.
But then i want to add a new connection, so that i have permission to send the email with someone else's email connection. So that person is made the co-owner, goes to powerautomate, and changes the connection for that email action to their connection instead of mine.
When that was saved, errors started popping up.
A summary of errors:
1. This error came up when i clicked the button in the application.
cc: Flow failed: {"code":"InvokerConnectionOverrideFailed","message":"Failed to parse invoker connections from trigger 'manual' outputs. Exception: Could not find any valid connection for connection reference name 'shared_office365_2' in APIM tokens header."}
2. When i attempted to remove the flow from the application and add it back, this error came up (while trying to connect the flow back to the button):
cc: Failed during http send request.
3. When I went back to the flow,
cc: There's a problem with the flow's trigger.
cc: Failed to parse invoker connections from trigger 'manual' outputs. Exception: Could not find any valid connection for connection reference name in APIM tokens header.
p.s. the code in the trigger had nothing wrong.
4. In addition to the above, i noticed that a new dynamic content appeared
cc: Parameters: $authentication
For extra information, the only items i "asked from powerapps" are strings and they are stored in a "compose" action.
I would appreciate any help with this issue. Or to be directed to anyone who knows how to fix this issue. Thank you in advance!

Hi this is so dumb but it works. So for powerautomate triggered using the powerapps button, if you want to use the "Send as" function in the "Send an email" activity, you need to actually click the "+ add new connection" button.
This button is in the flow, when you click the 3 dots on the "send an email" activity. You can't choose the connection thats listed in "My connections" or "Other connections". You gotta click the "+add new connection" button and this connection has to be the same account you want to use in the "Send as" function
special thanks to @WarrenBelz for helping me out
p.s. this would create a copy of the connections and you would see a bunch of them, but try not to change them once the flow works.
p.p.s. the email would show as "Person A on behalf of Person B"
Hi @pasta ,
Two things - one of the reasons that message appears is when the owner of the Flow is not the person trying to connect it to Power Apps - please check if this is the issue.
Also if you run the Flow from Power Apps, it will use the connection of the logged-in user, so there is not need to give extra permissions in Power Automate.
Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.
Hello!
Thank you for your reply. However, ive tried the first suggestion and the same error still occurred.
I'm trying to use this feature in the "Send an email" activity.
@pasta ,'
You are confirming that you are the owner and author of both the Flow and the App? (this is the only time I have experienced this error - I run two accounts).
What have you done in the Flow with the Email sending?
Yup. I'm the owner and the author of both the Flow and the App. I made the other user the co-owner (of the flow) then they added their connection using their account (in the flow). The flow simply takes strings from the app, to get the details into the email. Then the idea is to have the email be sent by the co-owner regardless of who clicks on the button.
@pasta ,
As I mentioned, this is the only time I have experienced this error message (and you have confirmed it is not the case). I assume you have used the sent from in the flow email - it may be an issue if the person running it form Power Apps does not have access to that account - as I mentioned the email will be default come from the logged-in user if run directly from Power Apps.
Ah now i understand. Thank you for helping me out. However, another issue was that I was unable to reconnect the flow back to the app. It produced the following error:
@pasta ,
As I mentioned, the only time I have seen this is related to the owners of the Flow and App, however a bit of searching suggests something in the Flow may not be configurable from the App (it is an error). You might have a good look at your Flow for anything unusual.
You can also consider posting it to the experts over at the Power Automate Community
