Container in Gallery | Collect / Patch / Sum Items

Hi lovely Community,

currently I'm confused about container in gallery.

I've built a gallery with container for nice responsive view, but now I've recognized I can't collect / patch / sum all items of gallery.

E.g. I've tried to collect with classic like this:

ForAll ( Gallery.AllItems , Collect ( Collection , { Bezirk: ThisRecord.Bezirk } ) )

"Bezirk geteilt" means "Subdistrict" in my example..

Looks like this in gallery:

But with ForAll Collection result is like this:

Is it cause of the container? Why there's always the same results and not the three of original gallery?

I tested it here and it doesn't seem like something related to the container. That way it works too:

Screen.OnVisible = 
Collect ( Collection , { Bezirk: Gallery.AllItems.Items } )

Or...

Screen.OnVisible = 
ClearCollect ( Collection , { Bezirk: Gallery.AllItems.Items } )

thank you for your reply, but unfortunately that wouldn't work for me.

I've Labels and Text Inputs inside of container and need to collect these as well.

With "Gallery.AllItems." -> There's just the container as option and nothing more...

Did anyone else solve for this?
I have a gallery > blank container > icon and I'm trying to target the gallery's parent record for navigation using the icon inside the container, but the container is "in the way".

I have noticed this same behavior. I wanted some fields to be initially hidden to save screen real estate, so I hid them in a container INSIDE the gallery. But when I try to push my controls from the gallery AND the controls inside the container to a data source or a collection, the container controls repeat the first value from the initial gallery row. I may switch to normal gallery controls, then unhide them when a button/icon is pressed on the gallery row, and maybe also hiding the gallery row or the remaining gallery fields to give the appearance of a "popup" window.  Using the container would have been much better, since you can control a group of fields at one time.

I can't create a responsive apps with this issue. I need to collect labels, textboxes and dropdowns for a gallery+container.

I gave up on the container within a gallery, and just used hidden fields that were made visible using variables to assist with the hiding/unhiding. You can create the same effect, just more work, since each field needs the visibility formula. If you have multiple fields to hide/show at the same time, you can use grouping of the fields.

And how do you make responsive without a container? You gave up to make a responsive app?

I was not attempting to make a responsive app. My main goal was to have a group of fields that could be made visible or "pop up" together, then be hidden again after filling them in.
