Hi All --
Late this evening I got an email letting me know I was granted access to the Power App Copilot builder. I've been looking forward to experimenting with this and dived in head-first.
First impressions with describing what I wanted and generating the Dataverse table was pretty cool. I managed to get a good approximation for what I going for. What I was mainly interested in seeing was the extent of the Copilot integration into the Power App as a natural language interface to the data.
Unfortunately, after the Power App was generated I was immediately hit with "Something went wrong. Please try again later." Screenshot below to give an idea of the problem.
I spent some time digging around Power Apps Forums, Reddit, DuckDuckGo, and YouTube, but didn't find anything clearly related. I'm curious if anyone here has seen something along these lines yet and if you have any troubleshooting suggestions.
FWIW, I've spent a fair bit of time here:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/canvas-apps/ai-overview
and here:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/canvas-apps/ai-conversations-create-app
making sure I'm meeting all the prerequisites.
Thanks & cheers!
Same exact issue, it builds the app using copilot just fine, albeit limited to one dataverse table. However within the app, when copilot is added and enabled on an existing app, or within the newly created one co pilot returns that same error immediately 'Something went wrong, please try again later'.
@pmesiha -- That's a good observation. I tried to see if I could find something similar when I open up my browser debugger during the page load. I saw the same error here:
Response From AI Builder {"error":{"code":"0x80048d06","message":"{\"operationStatus\":\"Error\",\"error\":{\"type\":\"Error\",\"code\":\"ModelNotSupported\",\"message\":\"This scenario is not supported in this environment.\"},\"predictionId\":null}"}} bundle.js:336:370973
But also noted the request that's flagging the error is:
XHR POST https://orgXXXXXXXXXXX.crm.dynamics.com/api/data/v9.0/msdyn_aimodels(XXX-XXXXXXX-XXXXXX_XXXX)/Micros...
[HTTP/2 403 Forbidden 692ms]
The HTTP 403 forbidden caught my eye... You could be right about the AI Builder models not being deployed. Could it also be an access control issue unrelated to whether the model is deployed?
I tried several times, but unfortunately, I encountered the same error. Initially, I used the AI Control, but even with that, I received the same error message.
same issues for me above too. even tried the hotel house keeping example mentioned in https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/canvas-apps/ai-overview, with no luck. Seems like the feature is enabled by yeah the models aren't deployed. Cause it looks like it is failing with this prompt "Generate 3 interesting questions to ask about the provided data", which is the initial prompt when adding the control.
I created an app and I am getting a different message:
No records in dataset Please create records and try again.
However, CoPilot created the database and temp records. I also added in records into the dataset.
This is what "Preview" means. 🙂
That was the first message I got until I changed the data set. Something just isn't configured correctly. Once it is you'll get the error everyone else is seeing.
I am getting that error in a different Environment.
Hi everyone.
The Product Group team is currently investigating the matter. We would like to note that this feature is still in the preview phase, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve the issue.
Rest assured that we are doing everything we can to provide a better user experience, and we will keep you updated on any developments.
Community Support Team - Anthony
@AnthonyAmador -- Thank you for the note & glad to hear the issue is under active investigation. I'll speak for myself (though I suspect others feel this way) that when I sign-up for preview features I understand there's going to be bugs to work out. I'm not upset, I'm just excited to experiment with copilot and see what I can do with it!
Rather than continue to neurotically refresh the app every couple hours, is it possible to get notification on this thread when a resolution is released?
