Create Gallery using a table as a filter

I want to create a Gallery filter based on a table in a SharePoint library.

I have a SharePoint document library and I want to use PowerApps for a front end GUI to show the documents in the library.

Trouble I am having is that a field (Process) I want to use as a search field is a choice column that allows multiple selections. Any idea of what code I need to put in to the gallery to filter by the Process ComboBox selection?

@StalinPonnusamy Sorry to bother you again, but any chance you can help me filter by user/group field. You sent me a way to filter by all users in an org, but if I have a field/column with a user populated. what is the item code to filter by that?

The choice command doesn't seem to work for person/group type column.

Hi @Boppersnr 

You have an SP list with the users. You want to display the users from the list instead of all. The user column is Person type. Is my assumption is correct?

If yes then set the Items property of Combo box to

Sort(
    Distinct(
        'SPListName',
        'Person Column Name'.DisplayName
    ).Result,
    Result
)

I assume 'Training Required by Individual' is a person column. Try removing sort like

Distinct(
    IssueTracker,
    'Assigned to'.DisplayName
).Result

Here is the sample

still not working when I removed the sort although I am not getting error messages. The table is blank even though there are 2 person entries that should appear.

@StalinPonnusamy I think I know the problem. That person field is set to allow multiple selections. Is that's what is causing the issue? anyway around that without taking that multiple selections off?

@StalinPonnusamy How about if there is a filter / search code to search all users in the tenant but only show (in the gallery) only the ones that appear in that person field?

Yes, For multiple selections, we need to do differently.

@StalinPonnusamy sorry only got to try this now. Th person drop down list is now appearing with the names (excellent) but the gallery is no longer working. I currently have this code in the Gallery Items . There are no errors, it just doesn't show anything for the selected person (s). I sense we are so close...

Since Combo box is a multi-select person then items property of gallery will change
