Create a Collection from existing excel table

Hi!

I'm trying to create a collectioon with all the data stored in an Excel table:

ClearCollect(colValoracion; Table1)        where Table1 stores the data in my One Drive Excel file.

However, it only stores in the collection the names of the columns of Table1. 

How can I complete the collection with all the records of my Table1?

Your formula is ok. How many rows do you have? 

To check the number of rows in the collection use:

CountRows(colValoracion) in a Textbox. Then compare with the rows in your table1.

For delegation purpose, go-to file... Advance setting... Then increase the delegation limit to 2000.

Your code is correct.  There 2 likely reasons you are not seeing any data in the collection.

1.  You entered new data in your table but did not Refresh.  You can Refresh the Excel datasource using the left-side menu.  Click on the datasource then click Refresh.

2.  Your rows were not entered as part of the table in Excel.  Double-check that they are in the table. 

If these did not work, please tell me where you used this code (in a button? in the OnSelect property?).

I have double checked it but i still have the same problem.

I have the ClearCollect code in the Onselect action of an import button. Can it be a format problem?

I have 570 rows, but my collection is empty as you can see here:

@mdevaney  Yes! But I don't know why when I press the button it asks me to select a .zip file from my computer.

Please take a screenshot of the connector you are using.  Something is very weird here...  I assume you are using the OneDrive connector.

Hi @Anonymous 

It sounds like you're trying to use the 'import data' control.

This is the reason why the app is prompting you for a zip file.

The thing to do is to make sure that you attach your Excel file using the option in the View > Data sources menu item. Select the OneDrive, or OneDrive for Business option here, depending on which version of OneDrive you use.

The next thing is to add a regular button by using the Insert > button menu option (rather than add an Import Data control).

If you then attach your formula to the OnSelect property of that button, that should take you further.
