Create custom page -- where's the NAME?

I've submitted feedback on the content of this training module but hoping someone in the community can help me. Here's the training link - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/modules/command-bar-advanced/

Issue: When I click on the What If command, nothing happens.

Expectation: Clicking What If button opens a dialog box (Custom Page) for interaction. I've tried re-building the page from start to finish but nothing resolves the issue.

In the screenshot on the left is Step 40 and on the right is what I see (Name is not there).  

I found if I go to the Solution and look at the Page object I do find a name similar to what is the in the example. I tried that in my javascript file but it still doesn't open the dialog box. I did try using just the Title 'What if' to no avail.

I've also searched for generic help around using Custom Pages but nothing seems updated or matching to what I see. Thank you!

@rg0173 - the "name" attribute in your script requires the logical name of the custom page as opposed to the display name, so what you have done is correct. It is also correct that you found the logical name in the Solutions page.

I do not see anything obviously wrong with the code but here are some troubleshooting suggestions:

• Ensure you have published customizations and refreshed the app page a few times
• Use static values first to validate the script is working. For example instead of:

recordId: itemId

Use one of the guids from the GUID column in your table:

recordId: "{087AA308-B321-E811-A845-000D3A33A3AC}"

• Double check that your custom page exists in both your model driven app and exists inside the Solution. To check, open the Model Driven App in Edit Mode and select: 
  • Add Page
  • Choose and find your existing custom page
  • Publish app and publish all customizations
    
    
• If possible, try replicating this in another Environment (this worked for me in the past, although I could not figure out why).

I must have been missing the 'Publish all customizations' step. I did that and then it worked, thank you!

The publishing parts and pieces are really difficult to remember when and where to do.
