Creating Hire history of an item

Hello to all,

I have list of cars on hire = total 250 cars. I would like to build with power apps list of all cars with history of hire,repair etc.

I have one big list with technical data(View Form) and now would like to create second Sharepoint list where I would like to add history of selected car like rental time, info about repairs, etc. How I can connect those two lists? So when I open detail page of VW Passat 1 I have history of this car and when I open detailed page of Audi A6 I have history of this car?

Hi @lukaszp89 ,

If 2 of your tables have an id which is linking them together, then you can always build up a view. F.e. you have a gallery with a lost of cars. You can give it  a variable, let say varCar.Every row can have a button saying "show more". If you click on it you can open a new screen where data is loaded according to ID. So you will make a formula something like Filter(YourSharepoint,varCar.ID = 'ID')

Hello, Thank you for your reply. So in both tables there need to be 'same row'

Yes whatever basically. Number plate can fit. The thing is that  you will need to say, tell me the info about this car from this table. so Both tables need to know what "this car" is

Ok I understand thank you but what about when I have list of cars and second list is empty. Should I manually add all ID(number plates) to the second list?

You should explain that. Why the list is empty? Because there is no history for this car yet? Or is it because you want to add this history through the app?

Exactly, history of car is empty right now and will be updated in the power apps

Then just add a column in Sharepoint + when you patch with the car's number plate.

Can you help me I hope last time:
I did patch function as you suggest and I have problem because when I submit new form 2 rows in a table are created one with plate number and second with other informations.

I have one big table, when I click on an item it open new window with detailed information. Below that is Display Form with history of a car. When I click add new it goes to new window with edit mode in which I have save button:
