Custom Calendar - Change color if daily score is not reached

Hello,

I have an app with a personalized calendar.
The user must enter a score once or more per day. I want the color of the circle to be changed when the daily score has not been achieved.

I would like the circle to be red if the score <800 otherwise it is green.

I tried to do:
Circle = Fill = if (Sum (List.Score <800; Red; Green) -> does not work.

I created a second gallery2, takes the scores of the day according to the selected date. Then a Sum (Gallery2.Allitems; Score) and Circle = Fill = if (Sum (Gallery2.Allitems; Score) <800; red; green) ->
does not work.


Could you help me find a solution to this problem?

Try

   Sum(List;Score) <800; 
   Red; 
   Green
) 

The second one is correct except you need Capital Letters

If(
   Sum(
      Gallery2.Allitems;
       Score
   ) <800; 
   Red; 
   Green
)

I have the following message : 


" warning to the delegation. The highlighted portion of this formula may not work well on large data sets. The "Sum" operation is not supported by this connector."

If(Sum(Gallery2.Allitems;Score) <420;Red;Green) does not work as I would like, the color changes depending on the date selected.

Firstly Sum() is not Delegable, so that warning is to be expected. If you have less tan 2,000 items (and have set your total to this in Advanced Settings) then the function should work.

The code on your post did not include a date filter on the second one, so I am not sure exactly what you want to do.

Yes there will be less than 2000 records in the sharepoint list.

 

Sorry if I misspoke.
What I would like is when the user starts the application, he can have a preview of these old recordings.
These old records are stamped with a small circle on the date.

I would like that when the user starts the application, the circles change color according to the score they entered in the previous days.

 

in my example I put a minimum score that the user must fill in (in my example 420 pts) :


- 07-27-20 the user has entered the score of 420 = the circle turns green
- 07-29-20 the user has entered the score of 160 = the circle turns red
- 08-05-20 the user has entered the score of 125 = the circle becomes red
- 08-06-20 the user has entered the score of 135 = the circle turns red
- 08-24-20 the user has entered the score of 1810 = the circle turns green

 

Currently, the verification of the score and the color change is done according to the selected date.
I would like this check and the color change to be done when the user starts the app.

What are the Items of the gallery, what exactly are you trying to add up and how does the calendar relate to the gallery?

The items in the MonthDayGallery  are: [0; 1; 2; 3; 4; 5; 6; 7; 8; 9; 10; 11; 12; 13; 14; 15; 16; 17; 18; 19; 20; 21; 22; 23; 24; 25; 26; 27; 28; 29; 30; 31; 32; 33; 34; 35; 36; 37; 38; 39; 40; 41]
in this gallery there is an icon named Circle, a label named Title and an icon named Subcircle.

in my list I have a Score column, with less than 2000 items. Users only see their recordings.

 

can we make, in the function color a condition, if the sum of List.Score of the day is less than 420 then red otherwise green.

When you say you have a Score Column, is this a separate list and if so, I assume it has a number field matching the MonthDayGallery?

I am only responding to your colour question here, so have not looked at any other code which is not relevant to this.

You would need something like (this is syntax guidance only)

If(
   Sum(
      Filter(
         YourScoreListName,
         YourNumberField=ThisItem.DateNumberField
      ),
      Score
   )>420,
   Green,
   Red
)

Summer of Solutions | Week 4 Results | Winners will be posted on July 24th

We are excited to announce the Summer of Solutions Challenge!   This challenge is kicking off on Monday, June 17th and will run for (4) weeks.  The challenge is open to all Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio & Power Pages) community members. We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions in the Forums to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.    Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”)   - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024   Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods.  You must enter into each weekly Entry Period separately.   How to Enter: We invite you to participate in a quest to provide "Accepted Solutions" to as many questions as you can.
