I built a list in Office List and the default SharePoint form works well in it. I would like to customize the form, and I tried doing it with PowerApps, but each time I tried using it, the popup form only shows a blank square. If I copy the link to my list object and open it in a new browser tab, my custom form appears and works fine. Any idea what I might be missing? That seemed so simple in the instructions, I do not understand why this is not working.

I may have solved my own issue, but I think it might point out to a bug or at least something that must be made more clear.
I was trying to do all this from the Office Lists App, in my own personal cloud space on a list that was not shared. When I started the process from a team in MS Team, inside a private channel, then the list was actually linked to a valid SharePoint, and in that situation, my custom forms work well. They work in a browser, and as an Extra tab in the TEAM environment.
For now, this will satisfy to do what I need.

What does your custom form look like in Design mode in Power Apps (please post a screen shot) and what is the Item and DataSource of the Form?

I was hoping to see something non-standard there (to explain the issue), but as you have noted, you have not changed anything.

Unfortunately, I already did that many times, and on different lists. This all started with a more complex list and form, and I diminished it to that very simple example, which still does not work. I am wondering if there could be a setting or permission issues with my environment or my browser (although I tried Chrome and Edge) and even tried it on my iOS phone browser. All tutorials on customized forms seem to work well, but for me, I keep getting the blank popup. It is also interesting that the form works when opened as its own link in a new tab (doing copy link and pasting it). Any help would be greatly appreciated, this should have been a very easy thing to do, so it has been quite frustrating to be stuck there.
