Custom page in model driven app - How to add scroll-bar

Hello,

i have an model driven app with some custom pages (canvas apps).

My customer has very wide screens so i changed the width of app screen in a way that the user can see all elements.

Anyway if the app is started on a normal laptop screen, the users are not able to see all elements on the right side of the screen.

I jsut need a simple scrollbar, so that the users can scroll to the right side if the app screen is bigger than the monitor screen.

I know that there i a possibilty of scrollable canvas apps, but as i understand it this is more like multiple pages that you can access via the scrollbar. 

Any idea how i can get a "normal" scrollbar?

Hi @SLMR 

Have you tried using horizontal containers and setting the max width of the items within? You will also need to allow it to scroll on overflow.

i tried once horizontal containers and set scroll for overflow.

But i did not got a scroll bar if the monitor size is smaller than the size of the container.
I do not know if setting the max width will help.

Because i want the width of the elements to be keeped fix.

but if the container exceeds the size of the monitor, i need a scrollbar

I think it might be minimum width actually, not max width. That means that the items in the container won't be smaller than say 600. So if you have 3 items each with minimum width set to 600 and your screen is 1200, you will get a scroll bar

Although i think that with your screen is 1200, you mean the App screen? Or is it really the monitor screen size?
But i think i have an idea how this could work.

I will try alter this day and report if it works or not

i could get it to work.

Using a horizontal container as you suggested works if you turn on the property "scale to fit"
