I am building a simple app which mostly pulls data from a couple of simple SharePoint lists (text, numbers, etc). It was all working well until today when I started seeing this error message:
"Failed to load [data source]. The specified record was not found." where [data source] is a SharePoint list.
The thing is that it happens only intermittently - maybe 2-3 times out of 10. What could be causing this?
Solved! Go to Solution.
@power2apps, thank you. We are working on a plan for better monitoring and communication. We'll share details soon.
at least for me 7 apps do work
thank you
Looks like its all working fine. The issue seems to be resolved now when i tested with couple of EMEA region tenancies.
I wish it will be stbale in near coming days as well.
Good that this issue was solved, but it would be interesting to hear why only the EU was affected.
We analyzed the cause for the issue and I want to be fully transparent and provide an update here. The cause of the problem was a configuration issue in one of the Azure infrastructure services PowerApps connectors use in one data center in EU region. Our monitoring missed it becuase this was an intermittent issue and affected requests to SharePoint that were routed to just that data center.
Here are the steps we are taking in order to better detect and resolve such issues going forward:
1. We are working with the Azure team to fix the root cause for this configuration issue, so it doesnt happen in our future deployments.
2. We are updating our monitoring scripts to better detect and alert us on issues localized to a data center or region.
3. We will be updating this page as soon as we detect an issue that impacts users and keep this status up to date until we fix it: https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/support/
I once again want to apologize on behalf of the team for the inconvenience this issue caused you. We are committed to improve our detection and communication of livesite issues better.
Hi Darshan,
I encountered similar issue. I was wondering why i cannot see my drop down when I create record in sharepoint directly. But when the same field is in PowerApps, it cannot show the drop down values. Somehow is only happening on one field. The other fields are ok. Any idea why. My account is based in Singapore. (Asia)
Thanks

@DarshanIs this problem occuring again? As of previous week we regulary experience Filter problems (record not found) between a PowerApp and Sharepoint List.
I use three Filters in OnStart of the PowerApp and each of these Filters only checks one column and is not nested (thus three stand-alone Filters). The List contains only 275 records, thus way below the 500 limit (and no Delegation needed).
I live in Belgium (thus also EU). The Filter finds the record in 30% of the time, while the number and contents of records and the PowerApp code all remain exactly the same. I tested with IE11 and up-to-date Firefox.
Can you please check? Because it hits a large project. Thank you in advance.

Hi Experts,
I am still getting the error in connecting to sharepoint document list from PowerAPP.
