Datepicker not showing data before a week

Hi All,

I am using Datepicker to filter/see data for a particular day. But when i am choosing a date before last monday(6th Dec 2021), its not showing any data.

Source of my app is sharepoint list.

Is there any limitation as such ? Please suggest.

Hi @pankaj2125  - Can you provide details of the code you have used to filter your data?

Thanks

This is the formula i am using while doing filter in gallery.

Hi @pankaj2125

To find the Start Date for the selected date week is

DateAdd(
    DatePicker1.SelectedDate,
    -(Weekday(
        DatePicker1.SelectedDate,
        StartOfWeek.MondayZero
    )),
    Days
)

End date

DateAdd(
    DatePicker1.SelectedDate,
    6 - (Weekday(
        DatePicker1.SelectedDate,
        StartOfWeek.MondayZero
    )),
    Days
)

StalinPonnusamy_1-1639661287171.png

So your filter could be

Created >= DateAdd(
    DatePicker1.SelectedDate,
    -(Weekday(
        DatePicker1.SelectedDate,
        StartOfWeek.MondayZero
    )),
    Days
),
Created < DateAdd(
    DatePicker1.SelectedDate,
    6 - (Weekday(
        DatePicker1.SelectedDate,
        StartOfWeek.MondayZero
    )),
    Days
)

Note: You can change the start of the day and adjust it. In this case, is Monday

Thanks,

My requirement is to show one datepicker which will filter rows as per date selected for my DateColumn.

Hi @pankaj2125

Sorry for the confusion. Your formula is perfect.  DateTime is delegable with SharePoint which means no issue with the filter.

Sharepoint data limit based on your app settings. By Default, it pulls only 500 records and we can set a maximum of 2000 records. In your case, no issue when pulling the older data with the date filter.

I assume you have data with the correct date format before Monday.

I tried mine with older days and works fine

Do you have any other filter with this?

Thanks,

Thanks for your efforts to find a solution.

Answer to your questions is No, This is my first stage of testing my app.

Maximum limit is set to 2000 but still filtering with datepicker which is not helping me before 6th Dec 2021.

I am able to see every date data on and after 6th Dec 2021. I will check the Date format once more but i am that is also correct.

Please check if you find something. Thanks again.

Hi @pankaj2125

The created column is the system field and Datetime format. So no issue with field type. To troubleshoot further, can you check whether works with only one filter

Filter(
    SPList,
    Created >= DatePicker1.SelectedDate
)

Silly thing, Can you remove the connection, re-add it, and try.

Hi @StalinPonnusamy ,

This was not helpful :).

Filter(
    SPList,
    Created >= DatePicker1.SelectedDate
)

My data got jumbled and showed wrong combination of rows.

Hi @pankaj2125

Are we getting any data between 1st Dec and 6th Dec when you select 1st Dec 2021 on the date picker with the below code?

Sort(
    Filter(
        IssueTracker,
        Created >= DatePicker1.SelectedDate
    ),
    Created
)

We are trying to find the root cause by eliminating the less than date filter.
