I'm developing App in basis way, which can be generated from Share Point List semi-automatically.
My Share point list has more than 5,000 records, and it could not be imported to Apps due to restriction of data numbers.
So I set filter to eliminate unnecessary items;
Filter([@MT_PATENT_MASTERDATA_3], TextInput1.Text in 'Title of invention')
The filter looks like to work, but filtered items are less than existing in Share point list, and PowerApps warns Delegation matter for this formula. What is the cause of this?? can you please advise it.
On the other hand, if the column title is in Japanese and record also input in Japanese, nothing appear in gallery, and also warning of Delegation.
Japanese language is not recommended to use in Share Point List??
Finally I intend to set filter "the column includes word", I may need to adopt !IsBlank formula, (but currently this formula also got Delegation warning), is this proper way to screen the items to import into Apps??
Thank you for your advice.

@Anonymous
The NOT operator cannot be delegated in SharePoint, not can IsBlank.
Instead, you must use this comparison:
StartsWith(ColumnName1, “”)=Blank()

So I assume it is better to make one(1) column for filtering e.g. SHOW : Yes / No in English, then have filter of gallery e.g. Filter(Source, StartsWith(ColumnName, "Yes"))
If it shows all records more than 100 or only 100 records but it can be filtered in further column elements, I can achieve to what I need to do (All useful record filtering initially (to eliminate useless records), then further filtering with specific words).
😅 Gave up to try to use NOT in delegation of PowerApps.
@Anonymous
The “in” operator cannot be delegated in SharePoint. Use “=“ instead of “in” to make your comparison.

Thanks your advice. Once change from "in" to "=", it is working. But still the records imported is 100 numbers limitation.
Do I need to set anything in Share Point List?? or in PowerApps?? (Delegation limit was already changed upto 2,000)
In addition, I tried to use "!IsBlank", but " ! " is not supported in delegation, so how can I define "NOT" for IsBlank formula??
If you have any idea, would be appreciated.
Delegation is a funny one.
If you are using a sharepoint list, trying creating a collection on AppStart:
ClearCollect("CollectionName",SharePointList").
That will save the data into powerapps temporarily.
I tried to add ClearCollet in Apps > OnStart, the result is as below attached capture;
So my share point list is using Japanese Language in Column Name and record itself, I guess this caused a matter of incorrect action in Apps.
In case set Filter in Gallery Items, delegation warning appeared for the simple syntax
表示非表示 = TextInput1.Text
(Column Name) = (Input Text in Japanes)
If anyone has knowledge about Japanese usage, it is helpful for me, thx.
You need to run the on start function : https://gyazo.com/ca6a576ad91876b4dc3e97e0f3e416f3
Your filter should be the collection name not the SP List.
I have no idea with Japanese sorry 😞
Thank you so much for your advice. My Apps improved with my knowledge.
One more thing about formula, if you know;
IsBlank() and !IsBlank can be used in filter for delegation?? or any alternative way to extract only blank field items / non-blank field items?? 😃

I would use a dropdown or something with a blank value and filter a gallery against that.
The IsBlank only returns a boolean type so difficult to filter with it.
