Hi everyone,

I have a gallery with several items, and contains an image that has a condition on its visibility, that is to say that there are items where the image (Check icon) appears and another not.
At the bottom and outside the gallery I have a button which I want to be enabled if the image (check icon) appears in at least one item, and disabled if the image (Check icon) no longer appears in any item.

I tried this code:
ForAll(Gallery5.AllItems;If(!IsBlank(Image1);Edit;Disabled))
but it gives error as you see on the screenshot

How can I resolve this?

Hi @gikido, I fear that is not possible.

You will have to use the logic written in the Image Visible property to correctly check if there is at least one item that has a visible Image. The property you would need to only reference the gallery items is CountRows(Filter(... ThisRecord.Image1.Visible = true ...)), but this is not possible.

Could you give this a try in the DisplayMode of your button, it will achieve the same result as the query you stated:

If(CountRows(Filter(GalleryName.AllItems As Main; !IsBlank(LookUp('Matrice à Remplir' As Inner; AuditId = Gallery1_3.Selected.IdAudit && MatriceId = Main.Id; AuditId)))) > 0;
DisplayMode.Edit;
DisplayMode.Disabled
)

How do you decide when a check appears or not? can you please share the code on that? would need it to give code advice.

Hi @gikido you will need to use the same functionality of the OnVisible of the Image in that button.
Let's say that you would only want to display the Image when the Name = "gikido".

Your Visible property of the Image would be:

ThisItem.Name = "gikido"

To check if the gallery has at least 1 record where the image is shown, you will need to reuse that logic and add CountRows:

CountRows(Filter(DataSource, Title = "gikido")) > 0

If you want the button to appear in your case, use the logic from your Image visible to CountRows(Filter()) > 0

here is the image visibility code, and i want to change the displaymode of the button according to the image visibility. I forgot to say that the image and is not in the table, I added it statically

This would be the code structure that you can add on Visible code

If(CountRows(Filter('Matrice a Remplir';AuditId=Gallery1_3.Selected.IdAudit))>0;true;false)

@gikido if you want to enable / disable the button (instead of showing/hiding), add the code below to your DisplayMode property:

If(CountRows()> 0; //See comments above for the full countrows function
DisplayMode.Edit;
DisplayMode.Disabled
)
