Dissapearing values in textbox placed in galllery.

Hi I have a problem with values in textbox added to gallery.

After I add new values and click anywhere on the screen the value turns back to default.

I want to add a new value after changing this field.

I've tried with patch function OnChange

Patch(

              zamowienie; // this is my Dataverse table

              ThisItem;

              {

                  Koszt: TextBox6.Value // Koszt is my Dataverse column

              }

          )

Galleries and the OnChange property sometimes clash with each other - try this instead:

If(ThisItem.Koszt <> TextBox6.Value; // Patch only when the values are different
    Patch(
        zamowienie; // this is my Dataverse table
        ThisItem;
        {
            Koszt: TextBox6.Value // Koszt is my Dataverse column
        }
    )
)

I have a Dataverse table zamowienie.

I added a gallery with datasource zamowienie. There's two labels which take data from columns food and name

I added a textbox to the gallery

when I type anything to the textbox than click anywhere the typed text dissapear.

I want to send email after clicking button. Everything works well apart from this value in textbox Text

OK, that extra info helps me understand better.

In the Default property of the TextBox put:

ThisItem.Koszt

Then revise the code in the OnChange property of the TextBox to:

If(ThisItem.Koszt <> Value(TextBox6.Text); // Patch only when the values are different
    Patch(
        zamowienie; // this is my Dataverse table
        ThisItem;
        {
            Koszt: Value(TextBox6.Text) // Koszt is my Dataverse column
        }
    )
)

I'm guessing Koszt is a number or currency type of column?

This should show any pre-existing Koszt in the TextBox and then save changes if you put in a different number. If that does not work, please reply with any error that shows.

Actually  "Koszt" is price for meal 😉
I just want to send an email with price typed in textbox but when I turn on the app even with all this formulas, value in textbox back to the default.

I'm unsure if you want to store the value typed into TextBox6? If not, then completely remove the statement from the OnChange property.

I noticed your email expression refers to a TextBox1 - a different control. Was this intentional?

I tried to store value from TextBox after just typing doesn't work... I don't need to store it.

I just want to send an e-mail with  typed text in TextBox in every single gallery element.
Now I added a new TextBox Value is empty

All settings are default

Running App

After I type anything in textbox it dissapear immediately...

There is some sort of bug happening here, so you need to launch a support request. I duplicated the issue in a test app of my own.

When a TextBox is within a gallery, it does not hold any typed value within it. Any TextBox outside the gallery functions normally and will hold the typed value until the control is reset.
