Distinct on Choice on Combo box

Hi 

 I am trying to only show distinct choices in a Choices column in power apps.  The formula looks like this:

Distinct(Projects,Choices([@Projects].rsa_Client)).Value

Despite there being no error in my formula, the form does not return any choices.

Please help.

There is no multi selection, Still the formula is not working:

Distinct(ForAll(Ungroup(Fruits,"rsa_Client"),Value),Value)

Hi @Kallu,

I mean the column you created in your SP list if allows multi select or not, it's the thing about data settings not the feature you mentioned.

Further more, Distinct() function only refer to the column directly, you could not use Choices() function in the Distinct() function.

I am using DAta vere on the backend . The client column is a choice column. Is there any way to get distinct client please.

Try:

Distinct(Choices(Bof1S.'Status Reason'),Value)//Bof1s is my table and 'Status Reason' is Choice column

HI @Kallu,

A screenshot is better than everthing...

Tell me more about yoru scenario, if there is blank from your ComboBOx, what does that look like, I have mentioned that move the mouse on the whole Distinct() function, see if there is anything returned.

I have tried my best to help you., however I could not imagine the data set on your side....

Hi @Kallu,

You may try these based on your control property:

General Formula:

1. Distinct(Projects, rsa_Client).Value

Multi-Select Choice Column:

2. Distinct(ForAll(Ungroup(Projects, "rsa_Client"), Value), Value)
