Editing a sharepoint library selection through power app

I have a sharepoint library that has folders where columns where users update as projects are completed.

So far, only way to do this was to edit in grid view. Wanted to do a power app that can edit the columns but while I can make a new folder, I cannot make edits.

I found a way to add Json script in a column to go into the edit field, but it doesn't select the item row to edit.

that's where I am stuck, I don't know how to filter the edit form to show the item row for the item.

If i select the row, it doesn't reflect in the app. 
the only other option, would be create a gallery in the app that filters to the item, but that's just more clicks for the same results as edit in grid view. ty

The only way to edit data from SharePoint Library as far as I'm aware is through Power Automate. I would run a flow which then edits the data either on demand or as the record updates. 

For example on Demand pass through SharePoint item ID along with the column data that the user inputs

okay, I'll have to work on the flow.

Is there a way for the user to select the item in the library itself and allows it to filter into the app?

Or do i have to do a gallery selection in the app?

I'm not 100% sure what you mean.

I'm guessing you have 2 galleries and you want to show data based on the selected? This can be done with forms as well as gallery, in that case you can have Gallery1 and on the 'On Select' you can put 'Select(Parent)' which would select the current record from the gallery.

I have created a brief example for the 2 galleries...

For the datasource I have created a quick collection and for the lookup column 'Value' which will reference from the first gallery. These would be your SharePoint data in your app.  

ClearCollect(FirstGallery,{Name:"Parent item1", Value: 1},{Name:"Parent item2", Value:2});
ClearCollect(SecondGallery,{Name:"Child item1",Value: 1},{Name:"Child item2",Value: 2},{Name:"Child item3", Value:1},{Name:"Child item4", Value:3});

Then on the onselect for the Gallery2 you would use the following for the items property...

Then because ParentItem1 in my screenshot has a value of 1 and is selected, it will then show the 2 child items that have a value of 1...
