Enable button to Navigate when in View Mode

Hi. I am currently working on a two-page form. I noticed that when the form is in View mode, the button is visible and not set to disable- but when I click on it, nothing happens. It should navigate on the second page of the form. Any fix on this? Thank you!

Hi @joieeee09 , The button is within the form itself? If yes the basically when the form is in view mode then all its associated data card also become in view mode. So, to make sure that button is working for you, make sure that the DisplayMode of data card in which this button reside is Edit. If you have multiple controls within the data card, then you unlock the datacard and for button DisplayMode you set it to Edit.

Yes, I have to place the button inside the form because my screen is scrollable. If I put the button outside of the form, the button will be sticked to the bottom when scrolling. 

My form is currently in View mode and the data card for my button is in Edit mode but nothing happens.

@joieeee09 Can you explicitly set the display mode of button to edit and try? Also share some screenshot if possible.

The Display Mode is DisplayMode.Edit

If you want the button to always reflect the form you can set the DisplayMode property of the button to NextPage.DisplayMode

@joieeee09 ,  Can you try deleting the datacard and re add new custom data card. Then unlock the data card and then update the display mode again to edit and then place button and also make sure that the button also have the edit display mode.

On the display mode of the button, I have this code which disables the button when all fields are not filled out. How can I add the NextPage.DisplayMode in this case? Sorry, I am just new to Power Apps.

Wait a sec. From reading your original post, you just want the button to navigate to another screen?

In the OnSelect property for the button:

Navigate(NAME_OF_SCREEN)

Yes. But when I am in View mode and I click on the button, nothing happens. I already added Navigate(NextPage). The button works fine if I am in Edit mode though, it should be working on View mode as well.
