Equipment App From Spreadsheet Help Needed

I have a spreadsheet (see attached) that has equipment contained within different cases. Each case is deployed in emergency situations. I want to create an app for tracking each case and its contents, but I'm running into issues getting the app to group the equipment and the corresponding details by which case it is in (Case Number Column). I have tried the GroupBy formula, but get an error every single time. Please help me create this app. I am super new to Power Apps other than extremely basic apps that don't need much tweaking from the table.

Happy to help but please show what you were trying. Are you reading the data into a Collection and then doing a GroupBy? When do you pull the data?

Show me the GroupBy you tried so I can tell you how to fix it.

Also, explain how you want it to look on the Screen because its easy to group (using different methods), but it depends on what you want

Imagine you want a Combo or dropdown. In the drop down are all the Unique lists of cases.

Then under that is a "Details" Gallery that shows the details based on which Case it is

Then you would add a Combo, Set it to Single select (in the settings near the bottom)

In the Items

Distinct(YourData, "ColumnName")

Then in the Gallery the items would be

Filter(DataSource, 'Case Number' = CaseNumberDropDown.Selected.Value

And done.

Now it changes the details every time you change the selected Case Number

I'm thinking I would like the main screen to have 'buttons' for each Case Number along with if it is deployed or not (ie, Deployed or Available), then when you click on each one, it lists the asset info and the other details. I want to create a way to edit the info details for each case without having to update all of the fields on every asset in the case, if that makes sense. I used GroupBy(ARKs, "Case Number", "GroupedItems")

I've gotten a little further, but now I'm stuck again. On my second screen, I want all of the information to show for all Assets that are in a specific Case ID, but it is only showing one. Each case has 9 different assets. I would also like to somehow group the Asset Tag and Asset Description together on the form, if possible.  The gallery on my first screen has this in the Items field: 

GroupBy(ARKs,cr757_title,cr757_field_4,cr757_field_2,cr757_groupeditems)
