Error in IsMatch function

Hi,

I wrote the below condition with IsMatch function

IsMatch(Input.Text,".*[\\\/|!`~.?+=#$%^&*()"&Char(34)&"].*")

If user entered any special character like mentioned above then it'll give a message that these characters are not allowed.

Earlier, it was working fine. But now after few months I'm getting an error on this &Char(34)&. It says: (Regular expressions must be constant values.)

Is something has changed w.r.t IsMatch function?

Have you tried to put Regex in a variable then use it in IsMatch?

IsMatch(TextInput2.Text,"^[\u4E00-\u9FA5A-Za-z0-9]{5,120}$")

You can mention in double quotes your scenario And check it once. It is workable.

Hi @DBTS7 ,

I just entered the formula then if the value matches then it gives true else false. 

I have written a blog about Regex.

Also, I suggested to stored Regex expression in a variable. Then try to access IsMatch(text, variable)

Did you figure this out? I have two apps with the regex

IsMatch( "testing", ".*[\\\" & ".*[/" & Char(34) & ".*[?"  & "].*") 

 and I get the constant values error.

Still having the same error. Just waiting for a newer Authoring version to try it again.

This is the same for me, I have been using similar script to check against " User.Email() ", and all of sudden it has started throwing an error. However this only happens in edit mode.
