Errors when sharing the app

Hello,

I am getting the below issue with a user that the app has been shared with(he was asked to verify the connections), The only SharePoint site the app is talking to, has that user as the owner. The only data connections in the app are to a single SharePoint site. Another user had the same error but after granting him SharePoint permissions and refreshing, the errors disappeared. Hard refresh was attempted with problematic user with  no resolution. 

 

App works fine for me and another user.

Here's a concise checklist to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Confirm that the user has the necessary permissions on the SharePoint site and on the specific list or lists being accessed by the app.
  2. Make sure the user has accepted the sharing invitation for the app and has logged in with the correct account.
  3. Verify that any data sources within the app have been shared with the user as well.
  4. Instruct the user to clear the browser cache or try accessing the app from a different browser or in private/incognito mode.
  5. Check the SharePoint site's permissions to ensure the user hasn't been inadvertently restricted or placed in a limited permission group.
  6. Ensure that any data connection related to SharePoint in the PowerApps is properly set up and that the user's account has the necessary API permissions.

If the issue persists, consider re-sharing the app with the user or asking the user to re-verify their connections. If the problem continues, it might be helpful to gather more information from the user's session by using the Monitor feature in PowerApps to see the detailed error messages when the user interacts with the app.

Remember to check the user's permissions at both the site level and the list level in SharePoint, as permissions can be uniquely set in both places.

Summer of Solutions | Week 4 Results | Winners will be posted on July 24th

We are excited to announce the Summer of Solutions Challenge!   This challenge is kicking off on Monday, June 17th and will run for (4) weeks.  The challenge is open to all Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio & Power Pages) community members. We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions in the Forums to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.    Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”)   - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024   Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods.  You must enter into each weekly Entry Period separately.   How to Enter: We invite you to participate in a quest to provide "Accepted Solutions" to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.
