Event Management App - Changing seats available number after a user has registered.

Hello I am working on an event management app for my school district. This will be for out Tech Symposium which is for the entire district. I am almost done. I have my list of sessions in a sharepoint list and connected to a gallery. I also have the registr button going to a new screen, which is the registration screen. After they register their data is stored in a sharepoint list.

How do I?.....

1. Change the number of seats available after a person has registered

2. Change the number of filled seats after a person has registered

3. Have the session name populate on the registration form and in the sharepoint list after a person has registered

4. Turn the register button green and saying unregistered

5. How do create the unregister functionality and also remove that person from the sharepoint list and change the button back to register.

6. Create a screen that shows all sessions they've registered for, providing them with a schedule

How do I?.....

1. Change the number of seats available after a person has registered

This will honestly depend on how the number is calculated to begin with. If its general seating so its just a number minus registrants total

Sum(OriginalNumber-CountRows(RegistrantListName))

2. Change the number of filled seats after a person has registered

CountRows(RegistrantListName)

3. Have the session name populate on the registration form and in the sharepoint list after a person has registered

Depends on where it comes from, if you have agallery of possible session names and user clicks on one to open form then add to that clikc

Set(sessionChosen, ThisItem.whatevercolumnsessionnameisin)

then just reference sessionChosen in the textbox or label on the form that shows this, and also in the textbox where you submit the info for the session

4. Turn the register button green and saying unregistered

not sure what you mean here But buttons have a color property that can be chanegs to whatever you want, as wella s a text property for what you want them to say

5. How do create the unregister functionality and also remove that person from the sharepoint list and change the button back to register.

to unregister, in the gallery for that item have a remove or unregister button and have it

Remove(ListName, ThisItem)

6. Create a screen that shows all sessions they've registered for, providing them with a schedule

this depends on how you are tracking the user, but just make a screen that onvisible does a clearcollect(allsessionslist, userregistered=user().fullname) but thats going to change dependng on what it is you are storing for them, but if its all being kept in one list that is general idea. for multiple lists, make first a clearcollect, followed by; collect(); Collect() etc
