Everything shuts down when selecting gallery item

I have a app that keeps track of our arriving packages.

After a package has arrived we can keep it in storage for a short while befor delivery.

When I select any item from my "arrived-gallery" everything shuts down.

I'm not sent to the edit screen or able to click on my back button in the top corner. The only things that keep working is scrolling the gallery and the filter dropdown selection. What am I doing wrong? This has never happened to a gallery before.

The gallery filter function I'm using is:

Sort(If(Dropdown1.SelectedText.Value="Alla";Godsmottagning;If(Dropdown1.SelectedText.Value="Mottaget";Filter(Godsmottagning;IsBlank('Utlämnat datum'));If(Dropdown1.SelectedText.Value="Levererat";Filter(Godsmottagning;!IsBlank('Utlämnat datum')))));ID;Ascending)

The gallery OnSelect propery is as follows:

UpdateContext({varDropDownValue:true});;
Select(Self);;
Navigate(DetailScreen;Fade)

I've also tried taking away all the filters and updatecontext functions without prevail..

Everything works as it should in project view but not in published app.

Hello @SebastianK92

This can be tricky because there are a number of possible causes. First, you can run the Monitor tool to see which part of the code stops the app.

If there is nothing unusual, it might be for any of the following reasons. Eliminate them one by one.

Reason 0: Your code.

Seeing your code, nothing unusual but please try removing the Select(Self)

UpdateContext({varDropDownValue:true});;
Navigate(DetailScreen;Fade)

Reason 1: The DetailScreen

Can you please show what it has and check if is it getting data somewhere other than the control's within it?

Reason 2: Published version

Check @poweractivate 's reply.

Reason 3: Your browser cache

Try to clear your browser cache. Close the browser. Restart your device just to be sure everything is clear.

Reason 4: Your browser itself

Use another browser. If you are using Chrome, try Mozilla or Edge instead.

Reason 5: Your device

Use another device to access the app. There might be some firewall settings in your device that is affecting how the app accesses the data.

Reason 6: Your internet connection

Use another internet connection. In my experience, an intermittent connection creates wondrous bugs that eventually go away when the connection is fixed.

Checked all the possible errors you mentioned. No fault according to the monitor session.

For some reason it worked. Will try to find if I can bypass to the new version later. Thanks a lot!

Hello @SebastianK92

Glad it got sorted out. I'm also happy to learn something from your situation.

I don't know the reason it worked, I am surprised it even worked.

To find the reason, check these steps:

Create a Power Platform Support Ticket

Even if my solution works now, it may stop working at any time in the future, the "solution" I gave is a temporary troubleshooting measure, or to keep the app working temporarily in case. You should start a support ticket as soon as possible here and find out why it is not working in the current authoring version.
