Filtered SharePoint List to email by powerautomate

Dear All,

Can you help, I have a sharepoint list which includes dates for each row. I need power automate to send the date and its data for each day to an email, so the filtered data which includes all data for the current day to be send to email at a certain time. I hope this makes sense?

1. Set the trigger for the flow to run at a specific time each day. Use the "Recurrence" trigger and configure it to run daily at your desired time.

2. Add an action to retrieve items from the SharePoint list. Use the "Get items" action and specify the list name.

3. Add a "Filter array" action to filter the retrieved items based on the current date. In the Filter array configuration, use the following expression to filter the items: formatDateTime(utcNow(), 'yyyy-MM-dd') eq formatDateTime(item()?['YourDateField'], 'yyyy-MM-dd')

4. now you will have data after that you can create html table pass output from filter .
5. use html table output in outlook email

additionally you can combine 2 and 3 by using get items filter query:

formatDateTime(utcNow(), 'yyyy-MM-dd') eq formatDateTime(urdatefieldcolumnname, 'yyyy-MM-dd')

Thank you for the help. Can you confirm the formula expression for UK format?

format does not matter. i am just comparing them by converting into single format

any way if you want just change  'yyyy-MM-dd' to  'dd-MM-yyyy'

I have managed to get it working but cannot filter the array for the html table to only contain items for the current day. Also when it creates the table it creates it more than once?

formatDateTime(utcNow(), 'yyyy-MM-dd') eq formatDateTime(item()?['YourDateField'], 'yyyy-MM-dd')

when you use this it should pass only for the current day

I put the following into expression and it doesnt work, says expression is invalid:

formatDateTime(utcNow(), 'yyyy-MM-dd') eq formatDateTime(item()?['YourDateField'], 'yyyy-MM-dd')

if its based on system columns created or modified

formatDateTime(utcNow(), 'yyyy-MM-dd')  

formatDateTime(item()?['Modified'], 'yyyy-MM-dd')

here datecolumn is Modified

 ------------------------------------

if its normal date column check format dd/mm/yyyy or mm/dd/yyyy

get item filter query datecolumn eq 'formatDateTime(utcNow(), 'dd-MM-yyyy')'

formatDateTime(utcNow(), 'dd-MM-yyyy') expression

above should work or else you can do by filter action to using formula i mentioned in previous msg

Dear All, 

I need to add two statements now, formatDateTime(item()?['Modified'], 'yyyy-MM-dd')  and if a column has a true in there? Can you confirm how I would do this?
