Filtering by a search field in a SharePoint list

Hello!

I am trying to create a filter to a data source that is from a SharePoint list and the field to filter is of type search. That is, the list field points to another list.

When I do the command it does not work using the name of the field nor any of the names that appear (because they have spaces). I have tried to see if there is an Id or something like that and nothing.

I have tried

Filter(Projects; Sharepoint Field = combo.select.value )

PowerApps tells me that SharepointField does not exist, in others it tells me that the types are not the same and gives me the error in the =

Any idea how to filter a field of this type?

Two ways - first should work

Filter(
   Projects; 
   'Sharepoint Field' = combo.select.value 
)

or (the old way)

Filter(
   Projects; 
   Sharepoint_x0020_Field' = combo.select.value 
)

Thank you for replying! I have tried as you indicated but it doesn't work. I think the problem is because of the type of field that is search in the Share Point list.

Sorry I do not speak Spanish (so a translation would be helpful), but it appears to be a LookUp Column - these can be an unnecessary issue in Power Apps - I have a blog on this that you might read - but putting that aside, this should work with up to  2,000 items (and your limit set to this) in your Projects list

   AddColumns(
      Projects;
      "Programa",   
      'Programa / Segmento Local'.Value
   ),
   Programa = ComboBoxName.Selected.Value
)

The field type is lookup.
I tried your suggestion without satisfactory results.

I tried all the ways you can see in the picture.  Option "Prog.Local".  

I also tested with the Programa_x0020_x002f__x0020_Seg.ID, and 'Programa / Segmento Local'.ID fields that contains the ID of the list related to the field.

And none of them worked.
Power Apps accepted all the statements without error. However, the result is that it did not load any data.

I read your post, https://www.practicalpowerapps.com/data/constructing-your-first-power-app-before-you-start. about the layout of the views. Sad, to say the least, are all the limitations.  I am convinced that the only way left is to redesign the Sharepoint list.

The list has been around for a long time, so I will have to convince the owner to switch completely to Power Apps so I can change the layout as you discuss in your post.

Below I have attached 4 lines of code that I have tried.

 Filter('Portafolio de Misiones' ;  'Programa / Segmento Local'.Value = ddProgramaLocal.Selected.Value)

Filter(AddColumns('Portafolio de Misiones' ; "ProgramaValue" ; 'Programa / Segmento Local'.Value);ProgramaValue = ddProgramaLocal.Selected.Value)

//test 4
Filter(AddColumns('Portafolio de Misiones' ; "ProgramaValue" ; Programa_x0020__x002f__x0020_Seg.Value );  ProgramaValue = ddProgramaLocal.Selected.Value)

None of them gave the expected result.

In addition, I add the datacard, to show the characteristics of the field that Power Apps adds to it.

The field 

ComboBoxName.Selected.Value

I have already tested that it has correct values to make the filter.

Running with the last one

   ProgramaValue = ddProgramaLocal.Selected.Value
)

it seems to be the correct syntax, but you did not answer the other question - how big is your list (and what is your Delegation limit set at). You can only use this on the first xxxx records up to that limit (and you will not get a Delegation warning). It is one of the (many) reasons I made the comment in my blog on Lookup columns.
