Form doesn't submit in live app
Hi,
I have a feedback form I've created on my canvas app which is linked to a list on my sharepoint.
When testing the app in Power Apps the form submission works fine, the data I wanted to capture appears in my sharepoint. However, the form submission doesn't work after publishing and using the app in a live environment.
The coding is basic enough:
FeedbackForm
OnSuccess: Navigate(HomeScreen);Notify("Thank you for your feedback!",NotificationType.Success)
OnFailure: Notify("Lame! Something went wrong",NotificationType.Error)
Submit Button:
OnSelect: SubmitForm(FeedbackForm)
Any ideas why this might be the case?

Do the users have access to the datasource?

Hi @MarvinAndrews Here are a few things this could be:
Permissions:
Ensure that the users in the live environment have the necessary permissions to submit data to the SharePoint list. Check the permissions both on the SharePoint list and the app itself.
Data Source Connection:
Verify that the connection to the SharePoint list is correctly configured in your live environment. Sometimes, connection settings may differ between development and live environments.
Network and Connectivity Issues:
Test the live environment's network and connectivity. Slow or unreliable network connections can lead to submission failures.
App Version and Updates:
Make sure that the published version of your app matches your expectations. Sometimes, issues arise if the published version is not the latest one you've been working on.

@MarvinAndrews To narrow down this issue first check whether the publishing is happening or not. So to do so, add a label on screen with some content and then publish the app.
Play the published app and if you see the newly added label then the published app available. Then check the behavior, if still issue persist then clear the cache of browser and try again.

@StretchFredrik and @AndrewR1 as far as I'm aware they should have the correct permissions to view the data source. The environment the app exists on is the same as the Sharepoint the list exists. My app is using data from another list on a different screen and that works fine.
But you mentioned permission to submit data @AndrewR1 where can I check this?

As a slightly different test, I asked a colleague who can edit lists in the same Teams environment but directly on SharePoint and they were able to do it. I feel like this confirms others can access it. Might be worth adding I'm not the owner of the Teams environment, I'm only able to edit and view.

Summer of Solutions | Week 4 Results | Winners will be posted on July 24th
We are excited to announce the Summer of Solutions Challenge! This challenge is kicking off on Monday, June 17th and will run for (4) weeks. The challenge is open to all Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio & Power Pages) community members. We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions in the Forums to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities. Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”) - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024 Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods. You must enter into each weekly Entry Period separately. How to Enter: We invite you to participate in a quest to provide "Accepted Solutions" to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities. Users must provide a solution which can be an “Accepted Solution” in the Forums in all of the communities and there are no limits to the number of “Accepted Solutions” that a member can provide for entries in this challenge, but each entry must be substantially unique and different.
