Gallery Icons not displaying in Published App

Hi Everyone,

Have had a look through and can't find a solution for this problem. I have 2 Galleries and the ViewIcon in both have the below formula for Icon

If(ThisItem.hiddenIsFolder = "No",Icon.View, Icon.ChevronRight)

The icons are visible in both galleries during the edit screen and when i play the app from the edit screen they are visible. When i view the published App though they only appear in the left hand gallery as per attached screenshot.
I have tried republishing and it hasn't fixed it.

Has anyone encountered/fixed something similar?

@SpruceMoose

Do these 2 things

1. add a Text label and in the text property, so that it spits out the value when you select a row. i realize thats not the issue exactly but if you click on a row, where ThisItem.hiddenIsFolder value would be set for sure, then  you will see what it thinks it is

"-" & RightGalleryName.Selected.hiddenIsFolder & "-"

2. Click on the icons in Edit mode

Right click them and say "Bring to Front"

Just to make sure they aren't being hidden by something that sits on top of it.

And yes, this can change between environments.

No luck unfortunately,

Both galleries are returning -- and i've brought to front on both sides.
Confirming that for both visible is set to true

Hi @SpruceMoose

I dont see the value of what I had asked you to type into the text labels.

you should at least see 2 dashes -- even if the hiddenIsFolder values is blank.

Plus I wanted to see the right side, since its the one that doesn't show the icons.

Can you share what you typed into the Text property of the label that represents, as I asked, you select a row in the Right side because its not correct or we would see something.

Just want to make sure what exactly it is in the second gallery when you select an item.

@SpruceMoose

View etc is a diplaymode, not the Visible property. Can you validate that they are marked as visible in their visible property?

Theres only so many reasons you wont see it. Image is not there, visible property, no icon assigned etc etc.

Hey Mike,
Sorry i forgot to highlight the dashes. New screen shot attached showing the comparison between when I view the app through the edit screen as opposed to the published version
For the Sales Gallery i've typed "-" & GallerySales.Selected.hiddenIsFolder & "-"

For the Engineering Gallery i've typed  "-" & GalleryEng.Selected.hiddenIsFolder & "-"

Hi, I have a different issue.  I have 2 galleries.  Gallery A have customers of data source customers and Gallery B has comments of from data comments.  These data sources have a relationship of customer ID and it is pulling from a SQL on prem data base.  One customer can have many comments.

That said, when In design mode when editing my application and run it, I am able to select the Gallery A customer record and it will display all the comments in Gallery B for the customer selected.  On the way i configured Gallery B was using a filter like Sort(Filter(Comments, CustomerID = CustGal.Selected.Customerid), C_date, SortOrder.Descending)

So, this is working perfectly, and it shows me all columns data.  I have 4 columns, date created, Created by, Type, Comments.  The data displays for all 4 columns here.

However, when I publish the application and run it, it only displays 3 out of the 4 columns data.  The Date Created, Created By, Type.  The comments field is blank.

I am able to insert new comments using the published application and the comments field still shows blank.  When I go back to the edit mode, i am able to see the data that i inserted from the published application.

I tried different things like creating a button to actually refresh the data source and that did not work, removed the output label text and created again and that did not work.

It is just weird that it will not display that one column of all columns in the published app.  The field is 100 characters long.  But again, out of the 4 columns that is the one that is not displaying on the published app.

Any thoughts?

Thank you,
