Gallery items on checked box from list1 should add new items of selected items from list1 to list2

I created SharePoint list for parent list and child lists and I have few below fields listed below and items from this list1 should get copied  on checkbox selection to child list from  Parentgallery to Childgallery

List1 -> Parent list

VacancyTitle (single line of text)  SRName(person field) StaffNo(Number) Country(Dropdown) department(single line of text) division(single line of text) VacancyGrade(Dropdownvalues) SRRole(dropdown)

List2->child list

Title(single line of text)  List1ID(number)this is refernce no  Name (person field)  Staffno(number) Grade(Dropdownvalues)

Gallery 1 (Parent list) when I click the checkbox it should copy these values in to child list and I can select multiple items from parent list but values to be the same when copying to the child list

I can't tell from the information you provided but the OnCheck property of the checkbox should be like

Patch(
       Childlist, Defaults(Childlist),
                                      {ParentID:ThisItem.ID,
                                       Grade:Dropdown1.Selected.Grade,  
                                       Title:TextInput1.Text...}
)

and the Uncheck property of the checkbox should be Remove(ChildList, ID=First(Sort(Childlist,ID,Descending)).ID to remove the entry from the Childlist.

I am able to copy the selected items but issue is in my child list i have one column STaffNumber which is not present in my parent list so in this case i need to get user inputs before copying so if i use popup and add controls then how to patch the copied items from parent gallery and add this user input staffnumber column while copying to child list

Capture the user input as a global variable when the user closes the pop-up and include it as a line in the patch, so Set(gvar, textinputsn. Text) on the popup and staffnumber: gvar,  in the patch.

can you please validate if the below approach of mine is correct as i altered as below and let me know if there is any side effects also at the moments it seems to be working and i would appreciate if you please validate the below steps and correct if any issues.

Could you please consider and help me with the below query?

when i copy the items from parent gallery to child list i have dropdown value called vacancystatus in parent and its empty but when i copy to child i just want to hardcode the value as Requested in vacancystatus of my child list  and in the below code how do i add that line of code .

VacancyStatus:varrecord.VacancyStatus

//this above line of code returns no value but how do I add in the below code that I gonna patch Vacancystatus as Requested
