Gallery refresh in powerapps

I have a gallery in powerapps with SharePoint as the datasource.

If user access the powerapp gallery and remains on that page for few minutes (i.e. 30 minutes). Other users in organization would have added/updated/deleted the record via form on the same powerapp. 

User needs to manually refresh the browser, to see latest updates/inserts/deletion performed on datasource.

Any idea without manually refreshing the browser, the latest updates performed can be seen? How to implement this?

Is your gallery directly using the SharePoint list as its items property or are you using a collection?

Hi @Iantaylor2050 ,

You can use Timer control that will be on loop for 20 mins as example and then once timer ends, simply refresh your datasource SP List.

Another way is to check if any operation where you are making changes has been made on SP List, if yes then show conflict to Users and refresh data directly.

Please try the below,

you will need to add a reload button and a timer control, you can hide the timer later once you have tested this

1) for your screen OnVisble property set a variable VarRefresh to be true

set(VarRefresh,true)

2) for the reload icon set OnSelect to the below

OnSelect: Refresh(datasource)
//Turn off the refresh
set(varRefresh,false)
//Reset Time
Reset(Timer1)
//Turn Refresh on again
set(varRefresh,true)

3) for the timer set the values as below
Duration: 15000
Repeat: true
Autostart: VarRefresh
OnTimerEnd: Refresh(datasource)

Example

Test it and the timer will start once the page loads, in 15 seconds it will auto-refresh, if the user chooses to refresh manually it will also refresh and reset the timer to 0 again, once your happy with the result set the timer visibility to false to hide it.
