How does one view activities by lead in calendar view?

I am trying to show all activities related to a lead on a calendar view. I can get all activities from all leads currently... but is there a way to get down to each individual? Like only show all activities for lead name "Mike Smith"

To clarify, do you want to filter the activities view to one lead, or do you want to view activities related to a lead from within the lead form?

For the former, you'd be best keeping the view as the default control, apply your filters, then click show as to select calendar control

For the later, you could add a subgrid on the lead form, and apply the calendar control to that subgrid. If you do this, I'd recommend a new tab with only this subgrid, and use the option to fill the tab with the first control

I basically want this

But without having to go into filters and changing "Regarding" every time. Either to type into a search bar with the name to filter. Or a drop down with a view and each name to click from.

To be able to go into lead, click a tab that shows this leads activities within a calendar. With every lead having its different activities.

Option 1: viewing related leads from inside a lead

Step 1: Add a new tab configured as follows

Step 2: add a subgrid for the activities table

Step 3: Add a calendar component to the subgrid

Here's how that looks:

Option 2: Filtering the main grid to a particular regarding

Step 1: Add your calendar control (you have already done this from what I see in your screenshots)

Step 2: Modify the "Quick Find All Activities" view to include "regarding" as a find column

Step 3: search your view using the quick find box in the top right

before searching (two records shown)

after searching (one activity regarding a lead called Stuart Baxter)

Here is the lead form to confirm its the correct outcome:

So I did option one, and it will show all activities with "regarding" in it. It does not filter to the individual lead. I will look into option 2

Can you confirm that when you added the subgrid, you ticked the show related records flag?

If this isnt done, the subgrid will show all records as opposed to just records related to the lead

when adding you tick this boxif you have already added click the subgrid and check the highlighted flag is ticked

That's very strange, and not the same as I'm seeing from my end.

Can you package your lead form into a solution and drop it over to my email please? I'll have a look tomorrow AM when I'm back at my desk
