How to only update changed data

I am using a form (EditForm1). my data is coming from excel. when i find a entry that needs to be changed I click into the edit form and make the change. I save and it updates the excel document, but it also changes all the other fields. 

1. How do I have my edit screen default to blank

2. How do I get only the fields I changed to update

right now when i go into the edit screen it doesnt show what the current entry.

I feel like for every step i take forward I break something else. 😅
Now when i have the Onselect -  SubmitForm(EditForm1) It lets me change it, but it doesn't really change it.

How do you have the date/time field set up in excel? is it a simple text or formatted as date/time?

change your update on the data card not the date picker to: 

Text(DateValue1.SelectedDate + Time(Value(HourValue1.Selected.Value), Value(MinuteValue1.Selected.Value), 0), "dd/mm/yy hh:mm")

Ok, I added that into the Update fields on the cards, now I am getting this error about the date?

It will still also not update the excel record after I click the SubmitForm(EditForm1) button.

Can you confirm if you are formatting the whole column?  it may be worth trying to add a new column with the same name and the new format - let me know how that goes

Ok, so i ended up have to delete and start from scratch for thoses date columns but so far so good!!! Last thing that is not working is my "submit" button from edits. 

I have a EditForm1 that has a IconAccept1 that after a edit is made they are to click the Icon and it will update the excel document. When I make a edit, I click the IconAccept1 and it goes back to my detail screen but doesn't show the edit I just made. In this example I removed the Aqua Date and changed the date scheduled to 8 am instead of 2 and it still doesnt show.
