How to record multiple combo box entries to datacard in a form

Hi,

I have a combo box with 8 different options, users can select either only 1 or all 8. 

I'm trying to record the user input in a form on another page so i can submit the form to sharepoint to log new tickets.

The problem i'm facing is recording multiple entries from the combobox. I'm able to record only the last of the 8 options from the combobox. 

Eg, if a user selects apples, oranges and bananas from the combobox only bananas will show in the user form datacard.

The formula i was trying to use is:

combobox.selecteditems.X <-- this doesn't work

However when i do

combobox.selecteditem.x it does work but only brings in the last entry.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Use:

Concat(ComboBoxName.SelectedItems, Column,  ",")

I tried that out and it doesn't seem to be working, what does the column reference? adding:
Concat(ComboBoxName.SelectedItems, Column,  ",") where combobox is the name of my box doesn't work. I'm also wanting to add in another 8 combo boxes into the datafield aswell as the combo boxes are conditional on a dropdown box however they won't be visible or have any data unless the relevant drop down is selected.

The column option doesn't appear as an input for me, only add, drop and rename columns do

The column refers to the column with "Apple", "Banana" based on your example:

Eg, if a user selects apples, oranges and bananas from the combobox only bananas will show in the user form datacard.

If you are not sure, show the items on your combobox

What is the data type of option column?

If it is Choices type, please make sure the 'Allow  multiple selections' feature is enabled shown as follows when editing the column property.

After it is enabled, refresh the Sharepoint list connection in PowerApps, and then set Update property of Data Card:

ComboboxName.SelectedItems

Thanks for the response!

I have changed the column in sharepoint to choices but i still don't have the multi select option appearing.

I also set the datacard in the form to combobox.selectedvalues but nothing appears. When i set it to combobox.selectedvalue.result i get a result but not all. The combo box is importing data from another sharepoint list though - could that be impacting?

Hi @zac12 ,

OK, I got it.

1. Change the column to Choice type, and enable the Allow Multiple Selections function (under More options)

2. Enter all eight options from the other lists into the Choices box 

3. Refresh the sharepoint list connection, modify the Update property as follows. the Column Name means the column displayed in the combo box.

RenameColumns(ComboboxName.SelectedItems, "Column Name", "Value")

The way the combo box is setup is as followed:

There is a drop down box and a combo box. The drop down  box lists 9 categories, there are 9 combo boxes that list those subcategories stacked ontop of each other but with the visibility set so they won't display unless the related dropdown box category is selected that relates to that subcategory. 

What i'm wanting to do is scan all of those combo boxes to output the user selections into the datacard. 

Is this possible? if not is there a better way to set this up so i can do that?
