Hi @Najwa_Rahal ,

1)To build a table with a field named Value

This is just a explaining part. You do not need to use this formula.

Please notice this formula is one part of the patch function.

2)The patch function

Please put this function in the submit button's OnSelect.

If you want to modify items in the gallery, please set the arrow button's OnSelect(inside the gallery):

Patch('Statements and Payments Scope',ThisItem,
{Title:"Super",
'Bank Connectivity':
Filter(
           RenameColumns(
                           Split(
                                  Concatenate(If(Checkbox1.Value,Checkbox1.Text&",",""),
                                              If(Checkbox2.Value,Checkbox2.Text,"")
                                              ),","
                                 ),
                           "Result","Value"
                         ),
            !IsBlank(Value)
        )
}
)

Just like this:
6231.PNG

 If you only want to update one item "LookUp('Statements and Payments Scope',ID=1)", then you just need to put this patch function in one button's OnSelect(no matter this button is inside or outside the gallery).

Patch('Statements and Payments Scope',LookUp('Statements and Payments Scope',ID=1),
{Title:"Super",'Bank Connectivity':
Filter(
           RenameColumns(
                           Split(
                                  Concatenate(If(Checkbox1.Value,Checkbox1.Text&",",""),
                                              If(Checkbox2.Value,Checkbox2.Text,"")
                                              ),","
                                 ),
                           "Result","Value"
                         ),
            !IsBlank(Value)
        )
}
)

You do not need to use "Concatenate(If(Checkbox1.Value = true", I have already concatnate the true checkboxes, please notice my formula:"Concatenate(If(Checkbox1.Value,Checkbox1.Text&",",""),
                                    If(Checkbox2.Value,Checkbox2.Text,"")
                                    )"

Hi,

I am not really understanding but you my try something like:

Checkbox 1 = Text 1

Checkbox 2= Text 2

Gallery Item value= Text1&" "&Text2

If you want I can setup a teams session and help you Jay@research-Nest.com

Hi @JayMagness ,

The item is a multiple value table that is why the value is to concatenate.

However, I tried to look for your email on teams couldn't find it.

Hi @Najwa_Rahal ,

Do you want to use two checkboxes to update a multiple choice column?

Firstly, please notice the multiple choice column's structure: a table with a field named Value.

What's more, you need to update with the whole table every time you patch.

If you make checkbox1 to update with Table{Value:checkbox1.Text}, make checkbox2 to update with Table{Value:checkbox2.Text}, it will not save previous choice, it will only patch will checkbox1 value or checkbox2 value.

The key point of your issue is to build a table with a field named Value based on the two check boxes' choice, try this:

Filter(
           RenameColumns(
                           Split(
                                  Concatenate(If(Checkbox1.Value,Checkbox1.Text&",",""),
                                              If(Checkbox2.Value,Checkbox2.Text,"")
                                              ),","
                                 ),
                           "Result","Value"
                         ),
            !IsBlank(Value)
        )

The patch function should be like this:

Patch('Statements and Payments Scope',LookUp('Statements and Payments Scope',ID=1),
{Title:"Super",'Bank Connectivity':
Filter(
           RenameColumns(
                           Split(
                                  Concatenate(If(Checkbox1.Value,Checkbox1.Text&",",""),
                                              If(Checkbox2.Value,Checkbox2.Text,"")
                                              ),","
                                 ),
                           "Result","Value"
                         ),
            !IsBlank(Value)
        )
}
)

I have a couple of questions regarding the code to enable the two checkboxes for a table of values :

1 - To build a table with a field named Value

      - Where do I create the this table to entre the below code ? Which Value Input ?

       - Don't I have to put in the code Concatenate(If(Checkbox1.Value = true ?

Filter(
           RenameColumns(
                           Split(
                                  Concatenate(If(Checkbox1.Value,Checkbox1.Text&",",""),
                                              If(Checkbox2.Value,Checkbox2.Text,"")
                                              ),","
                                 ),
                           "Result","Value"
                         ),
            !IsBlank(Value)
        )

2 - The patch function

       - Don't I have to put in the code Concatenate(If(Checkbox1.Value = true ?

Patch('Statements and Payments Scope',LookUp('Statements and Payments Scope',ID=1),
{Title:"Super",'Bank Connectivity':
Filter(
           RenameColumns(
                           Split(
                                  Concatenate(If(Checkbox1.Value,Checkbox1.Text&",",""),
                                              If(Checkbox2.Value,Checkbox2.Text,"")
                                              ),","
                                 ),
                           "Result","Value"
                         ),

Hello @v-yutliu-msft

It worked wonderfully. Thank you very much for your help. Just for info the formula works better and is much more stable when the Patch formula is coded OnSelect as I tried it on Oncheck .

Thank you again.
