I get "Unable to share your PowerApp. Please try again." error each time I try and share an app

I've just created a simple app for shairing a SharePoint Online list. I want to share it with my team - about 5 people. Mostly it's to see if this kind of thing would be useful and whether the folks would actually bother to install and use it.

When I select users from our organization and try to use the Share function to send out an invitation, I get the error in the subject line. 

Any suggestions?

What steps did you do to share an App with your team? Did this error message occur only on this “simple App” or on all your Apps? What was the version of your PowerApps?

My PowerApps version is 2.0.460. In PowerApps, I shared an App with someone in group, I selected the “Share” icon, entered a name or e-mail address to specify the user or group with whom I want to share the app, then specified the level of permission, then taped “Share”. The App was shared successfully.

So, please check if the steps you had done to share an App were proper, and also if you got the latest PowerApps version.

Sorry about the delay. Using PowerApps is an experiment with relatively low priority for us so I haven't had the opportunity to check into this further until this morning.

I'm using the most recent versions so that's not an issue. 

To share, I clicked the Share icon, too. The dialog than shows that the document is "Shared with" my organization and myself. 

I then used the mailer to send an explicit notice explaining the App, how to get it, how to install PowerApps app and so forth. And that's what fails. When I click the share button, the system processes for a while and I then get an error: "Unable to share your PowerApp. Please try again." Under more details there's a session ID and that's it.

My thought is that since sharing has been enabled, perhaps the message is redundant and thus doesn't work. Though that doesn't make sense since then there would be no mechanism to announce new apps.

Thanks for your reply. When I clicked the Share icon in my App, a section showed this App was “Shared with” my organization and member of my group. Was your “Shared with” dialog the same with this?

It seems that the reason is not the redundant message. Because though I filled many messages in the message box, the App was also shared successfully.
I had a shared App in my App list, and the owner was my group member. Then I tried to share that App, in the email address box, if I filled the owner’s email address, with the share button clicked, it processed for a while, then an error message occurred: ”Unable to share your PowerApp. Please try again”.

so, please check who was the App’s owner? Did you fill the email address box with the owner’s email address?

The screen was essentially the same. The box showed shared with everyone and me as the owner. I manually entered folks into the address box and selected a security choice - use - and then as you experienced, the error.
