I'm encountering challenges when converting time zones for a DateTime column in PowerApps.

I am trying to update the scheduled date in a SharePoint list, and it appears to be inserting correctly. However, when I retrieve the date and time values, they do not reflect the exact datetime as stored in the list. It seems like they have been converted to the local time.

Determine the Time Zone of Your SharePoint Site: Make sure you know the time zone of your SharePoint site and the time zone in which you wish to display dates and times.

Store Dates in UTC: When saving dates to SharePoint, convert any local times to UTC. PowerApps provides the TimeZoneOffset() function, which can be used to calculate the difference between local time and UTC time.

Here’s how you can adjust the time to UTC when patching to SharePoint:

YourDateColumn + TimeZoneOffset(YourDateColumn)

This will adjust the time from UTC to the user's local time.

Use Consistent Time Zones: Always use the same time zone when dealing with dates and times in both SharePoint and PowerApps to ensure consistency.

Testing: Test your app with different time zones to ensure that dates and times are being calculated and displayed correctly.

I just attempted to use the code based on your instructions. However, when I entered the date as "11-09-2023 7:00 PM," it was stored in the SharePoint list as "10/4/2024 9:00 AM.
