Invalid schema, Expected a one-column table Filtered Items

Hi All 

I am at out of ideas on this one so hope you can help. 

As shown in the image below I have a split view. The form on the left is One SharePoint list for project details and the form on the right is a gallery of as second SharePoint list for technologies. Each project can have multiple technologies related to it and each technology could be related to multiple project. The way this is done is by using a lookup field in the in the Technologies list that allows multiple selected items from the projects Title list. 

So what I'm looking to do is filter the gallery on the right by using the filter function. 

The formula I have is as below and i have used many different variants and but no luck. 

Filter('LC Technology Planning',DataCardValue1.Text in 'Parent Project')

The error i get is .. Invalid schema, Expected a one-column table Filtered Items ... and I believe it is because 'Parent Project' s a table and i do not how to use this in a filter function.

any help on this would be greatly appreciated

I believe here you must define the fieldname after parent project.  You can find the possible fieldnames using autocomplete after typing the dot.

DataCardValue1.Text in 'ParentProject'.your_field_name

Note: typing a dot will select on a specific column rather than the whole table.

No 😞 I already tried that, I get nothing.

It offers ID or Value as auto entry but neither help... 

I can get it to work if I use a text box on the title but i need to do this with the 'Parent Project' filed which in SharePoint is a  lookup field.

Is that a delegation warning?  You can get rid of that by increasing the delegation limit to 2,000 rows or making the function able to delegate.

Why not do DataCardValue1.Text = 'Parent Project'.Value instead?

.Value worked actually But then i also needed to refresh the connection for some reason ? But all working now.

Yes, refresh connection is needed to update the data being used (example: new rows or columns were added)
