Hi @Anonymous ,

Firstly, please make sure the Library Name you specified in your "Get file properties" action is the same as that your Gallery connected to in your canvas app. And the Site Address has been specified to a proper Site Address.

In addition, please make sure the corresponding file is actually existed in your SP Library. If the file has been remove from your SP Library, this error would show up.

If the issue still exists, please consider re-create your flow, configure it as below (alternative solution):

The flow works successfully as below:

7.JPGPlease add "Get item" action in your flow instead of the "Get file properties" action. Please try it, check if your issue is solved.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Could you please share a bit more about your Gallery? Does it connect to a SP Library?

Do you want to auto-mail the file in your Gallery when you press the ">" icon?

Further, could you please show more details about the file that you mentioned? Is it a Image or other doc file (e.g. PDF, Excel, Word, ...)?

If your Gallery is connected to a SP Library, and you want to auto-mail the file in your Gallery when you press the ">" icon,  afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in Power Apps canvas app itself.

As an alternative solution, I think the combination of Power Apps and Power Automate flow could achieve your needs. You could consider fire a Power Automate flow when you press the ">" icon in your Gallery, then use the Power Automate flow to send email.

You could pass the File Identifier of the selected file in your Gallery from your canvas app to your flow, then within your flow, add a "Get file content" action of SharePoint Connector to get the file content based on the passed File Identifier.

Please take a try with the following workaround:

Flow's configuration as below:

2.JPG

3.JPG

App's configuration as below:

4.JPG

Within your canvas app, you need to create a connection to your above flow from your canvas app firstly. The set the OnSelect property of the ">" icon inside your Gallery to following:

'Your Flow Name'.Run(ThisItem.Identifier)

After that, when you press the ">" icon in your Gallery, it would fire the flow to send an Outlook email along with corresponding file as attachment.

More details about firing a flow from a canvas app, please check the following video resource:

Hi @v-xida-msft  im unable to add file identifier from flow can you guide me how it is to be added?

Hi @Anonymous ,

The "File Identifier" action I mentioned in above flow is actually a "Compose" action as below:

5.JPG

I just rename the "Compose" action as "File Identifier", on your side, you could consider rename the "Compose" action as "File Identifier". Then please try the flow configuration again, check if the issue is solved.

Within the "File Identifier" action ("Compose" action), type "Ask in PowerApps" dynamic content of PowerApps trigger.

Hi @v-xida-msft  it gives me an error saying item not found

Hi @Anonymous ,

Based on the screenshot that you mentioned, I think you have some misunderstanding with my flow's configuration.

You just need to define single one parameter within your flow, which receive the value passed from your canvas app. But within your screenshot, I find that you have defined three parameters in your flow.

Please consider re-create your flow based on the flow's configuration I provided above carefully. More details about defining parameters in your flow, please check the following GIF screenshot:

Test.gif

Of course, if you want to define parameter for the "To" field in your "Send an email (V2)" action, you could use the "Ask in PowerApps" dynamic content to define the parameter you want to pass from your canvas app.

Please also check if the video resource I listed in previous reply could help in your scenario.
