The problem is that the row will accommodate the height of largest Item in the row.  In your case, it is the radio control to the left of the one selected in your screenshot.  One way to do it is to change the layout property of the radio control to Horizontal and make it wider to accommodate all the choices.  Since there are so many choices in that control, you could put in a dropdown instead of the radio control.  That would take up less space.

Hi @SPS-DEV-22 ,

Imagine the form acts like a table where the row height is determined by the datacard with the largest height and you can only have one datacard in a cell. That is what is causing your issue: the datacard with the many radiobuttons is increasing the height of that row and hence pushing the next row, and the datacards in it, down.

Turning off "snap to columns" will allow you to add more datacards than the specified amount to a row, but will still not let you do the same vertically. As far as I know a "snap to rows" property doesn't exist and can hence not be turned off:

An idea has been posted for such a feature, so please upvote it to have it implemented:

I turned off Snap to Column.

Client wants the have the radio buttons, but I'm thinking the form can be done cleaner with the dropdown choices , especially looking at the prior forms they have build.

I still can not move the columns around, I changed the radio button in SharePoint to return to a dropdown and then readded the form field and now the form field is at the bottom of the form. I need to move it back to where it was at prior. it isn't letting me move things around.

@SPS-DEV-22

Click on the Form control and then select Fields on the right side of the screen and drag and drop it up the list of fields shown.

I'm still having issues with move the fields around. some form field have LONG titles but the data field is not so long.

I made everything a dropdown box, but the layout still needs work, and the form fields dont want to move or lineup correctly...
How do I move a form field to another location? like the next line of form fields?

it is three columns wide and there is enough room to move a field into an open spot but I can not get it to move properly

@SPS-DEV-22

An undocumented tip is to move all hidden cards to the bottom of the field list. Even though the field is hidden, it interferes with the spacing and makes it hard to select the visible cards.

not sure about the moving to the bottom of the fields listing.

however, I'm having an issue with moving items the X | Y is not releasing control, and the  X | Y keeps moving things where I do not want the form fields .
It seems  X= 0 and  Y= 835 seems locked in moves the item to the bottom of the form. heck it is almost off the form page.

I want the X | Y to be something like  516 | 408. As I moved a  test form field right to that spot and it said that  X|Y
however, I can not see the move the SharePoint form fields to that location.
how do we move things around to get them to line up or even to get off a "0" X location?
