I have a requirement with respect to the Leave management system, I have two SharePoint lists known as UserCredentials and leave Balance, and I want to build a logic that the user has to log in and submit his leave request to the concerned manager for Approval. how can I combine these two SharePoint lists i.e; User credentials and leave balance lists to achieve this? Do I need to consider any particular column as common to establish a connection between these two lists? Please clarify. Thank you.

Not entirely sure if you are trying to do here. Are you trying to make sure have the user to see their allocated hours when they are submitting a request? If that is the case this would work.
You can pull information of the user and store it in a variable. In this example lets assume you have email of the users in both lists.
Once you have connected to Office365Users connector you can check and store the information of the user using the app.
Run-> Set(_myProfile,Office365Users.MyProfile());
on your onstart.
Then to get information of the user credentials assuming the column name of user email is 'UserEmail',
Set(_UserCredentialsVar,Lookup(UserCredentials,UserEmail= _myProfile.Mail));
To get infomation of the user leave balance
Set(_leaveBalanceVar,Lookup(LeaveBalance,UserEmail =_myProfile.Mail));
If you are trying to display all the users and the leave balance you can use a gallery and add two labels and use lookup there to find the leave balance. But please note that this will slow down your application if your list is really big.
Hi Thank you very much for your response, Yes you are right I have a SharePoint list created for allowed users and also another list for User credentials like username and password. So my exact requirement is I need to make sure that the end user to login and also submits the leave request accordingly, for that DO I require a lookup column if yes can I consider EMPId for that because I have given Emp ID for that both SharePoint lists?

We are excited to announce the Summer of Solutions Challenge! This challenge is kicking off on Monday, June 17th and will run for (4) weeks. The challenge is open to all Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio & Power Pages) community members. We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions in the Forums to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities. Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”) - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024 Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods. You must enter into each weekly Entry Period separately. How to Enter: We invite you to participate in a quest to provide "Accepted Solutions" to as many questions as you can.
