Link to App doesn't work

Hello,

I have created an app for a sharepoint list (powerapps integrated canvas).

I need a hyperlink for this app that can be used on other pages - however, when I "copy link" from the top of the app, it takes me to a default sharepoint form, with no order (not my app).

is there something to be changed in the URL? Is there a better method for getting the link to one's app?

However, I don't think it makes sense to use SP custom forms away from SharePoint, and if you insist on doing so, you'll also need to pass parameters via deep-linking to display the specified item.

but I wanted to mention that this link would still be on sharepoint, just a different sharepoint page. for some reason now, the link we're using doesn't link to the app i made, but the sharepoint default form.

Is there an easier method than deep-linking if the app isn't leaving sharepoint?

If you want users to navigate to a generic link, perhaps the landing page of your app, it would be located here: 

Then you copy and paste the link to the app here in any web browser:

But if you require users to navigate to a specific screen inside your app, then yes, that requires deeplinking. I have included examples similar to the one in my application:

Go to your App's StartScreen property and add:

What this is saying is append screenname to the end of the URL, and associate a navigable page to the screenname, e.g., &screenname=humanresources. In this case, this assumes human resources will navigate to a screen called "HR" on your app. I even got fancier for you and created a role-based access where a user cannot enter an admin screen/page unless they are part of an admin email group; this is ultimately only necessary for stricter control over who can deeplink into a screen/page. I would advise you to opt for password-controlled screens/pages for that matter. 

END RESULT:

[insert long web link]&screenname=humanresources
