Hi everyone,
I have problem to load a field value from Sharepoint list to a combobox which connected to an excel table when edit a record.
I have two data sources: SPList and Table1 (connected via Onedrive business). I am working on a custom powerapps form on SPList where user can select 'Company Name' via combo box i.e. CbxCompanyName (Items: Table1.'Company Name') which derived values from an excel Table1 and then save it to SPList.Title. I have no issue to save the selected value into SPList's CompanyName field (Single line text field type) (Title_DataCard > Update: CbxCompanName.Selected.'Company Name').
However, when I edit a record in SPList there is no value shown on CbxCompanyName. I have tried my best to search for similar case here but didn't manage to get a clue.
Appreciate if anyone could enlighten me on this issue.
Thank you in advance.

@altric ,
It is always good to post your full code in Text, however from what I can see your issue is the DefaultSelectedItems of the Combo Box. From what I can see in your post, it probably should be
{'Company Name':ThisItem.'Company Name'}

@altric ,
The DefaultSelectedItems of a combo box simply needs three elements: -
From what you have posted (which is all I can respond to), what I posted follows certainly the first two rules. It assumes the output of the combo box is CbxCompanyName.Selected.'Company Name' and the field name displayed is Title. I have to assume the third rule applies.
Can you please check all of these assumptions as something is clearly wrong if a value does not display.

CbxCompanyName combo box code:
Items: Table1.'COMPANY NAME'
DefaultSelectedItems: If(SharePointForm1.Mode=DisplayMode.Edit, Filter(Table1, 'COMPANY NAME' = ThisItem.Title))
The Title field data card is actually the CompanyName field on Sharepoint list.
@altric ,
That will produce a Table (which is the Items) - for DefaultSelectedItems, I assume you want to simply show the field currently stored in the Item displayed on the form? It should be
{'COMPANY NAME':ThisItem.Title}

Thank you for your prompt reply.
I actually want to display the saved value of CompanyName (Title) of a record from Sharepoint list in Combo box when I want to change/ edit the record.
For e.g. as shown on pic above, a record with SID# 2 has a CompanyName i.e. "PerXXXX". When select it and click on Edit, the custom powerapp form should display "PerXXXX" company name on the combo box. And if I want to change the company name to others, I expect the combo box can allow me to search Company Name on the combo box (which derived list of company names from Table1 i.e. an excel file) > save it > the new chosen company shall updated for record SID# 2.
I did try your code and put it into DefaultSelectedItems but when I click on Edit button on SID# 2 record, the combo box of Company Name shows blank when the custom form appears. When I click on the combo box then it displays the "PerXXXX" company name on it but the combo box not able to show the choices from Table1.
Thanks

Hi WarrenBelz,
I have rechecked and made changes as below for combo box of CbxCompanyName:
Items = Table1.'Company Name'
DefaultSelectedItems = {Value: ThisItem.Title} - earlier I made a mistake by putting {'Company Name':ThisItem.Title}
And now I can select record on Sharepoint list > Edit > earlier saved Company Name displays on combo box > able to choose other Company Names from the combo box > able to save to Sharepoint list.
It works!
Thank you, WarrenBelz.
