Making three fields required in a canvas app using if statements

Hello, 

I am trying to enable my submit button's display mode depending on the values of three fields.  My three fields in my canvas app are: 

Case_Number (text input)

Sessions (Drop Down)

Reviews (Drop Down).

I basically want to have something that states that if Case_Number is blank and both Sessions & Review Drop Downs Start with "Please Select...", then displaymode.Disabled.  But if they are then entered / selected - to make it displaymode.edit.  

How do I write something like that simply?

Excel . . . that would have been good to know at the start (I should have asked). What is the field name you are displaying in the Combo Boxes ?

No worries.  

My Sessions drop down field is called: CU_Session_Eval

My Quarterly Review drop down field is called: CU_Quarterly_Review_Eval

My Case Number field (just a text input) is called: Case_Number_Eval 

Clever names, right?

   Len(Case_Number.Text) = 0 ||
   Sessions.Selected.CU_Session_Eval = "Please Select ..." ||
   Reviews.Selected.CU_Quarterly_Review_Eval = "Please Select ...",
   DisplayMode.Disabled,
   DisplayMode.Edit
)

This one didn't seem to work exactly.  I just want to clarify some of the items, as I think it may be on me for any confusion.  

Case_Number_Eval -> this is a text input field

CU_Sessions_Eval -> this is the drop down field.

'CU Sessions' - this is the excel table for this list. 

CU_Quality_Review_Eval -> this is the drop down field.

'CU Quality Reviews' - this is the excel table for this list. 

Based on this, when I try to write what you provided, it will not let me enter it. This is what it looks like below.

This is really basic control references - all you need is the valid output of the controls, so if you type in

CU_Session_Eval.Selected.

what comes up underneath ?

Hi @WarrenBelz 

Thank you for the reply.  I have added what pops up underneath for both of this, which is the names of the excel tables and it looks good - however - just like last time, when I save it and try it out.  As soon as I enter one digit in the case number field, the submit button becomes enabled.  Need it where it's all three.  

Sorry to frustrate - not trying to.  Just really scratching my head as to what is missing.

But I appreciate your help.

No frustration on my part, but this blog of mine may be worth reading - it may save you some frustration in the future. Are you sure you  have the Please Select  . . . exactly as it is in the drop-downs ? How about this

The error it gave was: "Invalid number of arguments: received 5, expected 2."

Apologies - I had the equals signs in there where you did not.  This worked perfectly!!
