Model Driven App - Displaying JSON in Views

Is there a way to display JSON better in a Power Apps Model Driven View? For example, i just want to display specific key of a JSON

Views can only be built with the Model Driven view designer; you cannot include a JSON.

Well that's sad to hear, so there is no way to display JSON neatly in a View is it? Since it's kinda ugly to see JSON in the main grid View hahaha.

Then is it possible to use a Dataverse Formula column to somehow get the Key of a JSON? I have a hard time finding resources regarding this formula. I tried using ParseJSON, correct me if i am wrong but it seems it only works for Canvas Apps? Or is there any other recommendations for this problem?

To further clarify, what i want to display is the value of a certain JSON key instead of the whole JSON. Furthermore my JSON have is an array. So ideally i want to concatenate the values of the key using a seperator like a comma

I use formula columns when needed but never used ParseJSON function but according to this article you can use it in Model Driven apps. I would try creating an environment variable and set the JSON value there and then use that environment variable value in formula column to parse it.

That is what i initially thought as well, but after trying it out myself dataverse does not seem to recognize ParseJSON. So i went to this article instead and on the Functions section ParseJSON is not listed there. My guess is that the article you provided only works for Power FX in the apps itself (like using it when making a Canvas App) but not when making a dataverse column (for some reason). Anyone can clarify this?

Here's a screenshot of me trying to use ParseJSON in a formula column btw,

If it is a text value you need to wrap it in Text();

 Text( ParseJSON( JsonString ).parent.child )

If it is a value like a number then you need to wrap it in Value():

Value( ParseJSON( JsonString ).number )

In both cases, you will need a variable (JsonString in examples) to hold the JSON.

Oh yea, i already read that part as well hahaha. Sadly it didn't work on my end. Anyways the point of my previous post is to show that ParseJSON isn't even recognized as a function. Usually when something is wrong with how you are using a function, the error message would say something like wrong arguments, etc.

So correct me if i am wrong, but i don't think you can use ParseJSON in a formula column in dataverse.

It is not possible for now, it is not a formula supported only in Canvas app we can use it but not in Dataverse columns
