Model Driven App Javascript deselect unselect subgrid record unfilteres records

I have an Onselect and Onload event where the users can select a record in subgrid "SEF_Sub_Grid" to filter another subgrid "SDP_Sub_Grid".

When the users unselects a record within the "SEF_Sub_Grid, I want to refresh the filtered subgrid with the original items. I dont seem to be able to find anything online for unselecting records triggering an action, I've tried to poll the item but once the record is unselected it does not trigger.

In Model-Driven Apps, you can't directly handle the "unselect" action of records in a subgrid as you would for "select" actions. When a record is unselected, there's no specific event that is triggered. However, you can achieve your desired functionality by periodically checking the selected records in the "SEF_Sub_Grid" subgrid and comparing them to the previous selection. When the selection changes, you can then update the "SDP_Sub_Grid" subgrid.

How would that work if deselecting doesnt have a trigger or a function?

If we are comparing an array from the previously selected item, and the item doesnt update when the record deselected, how would that work? The array would always either show the previously selected item or the code stops executing because there is no trigger on deselect.

Hi there, is there a code to just unchecked any selected rows from grid.getGrid().getSelectedRows();?

I tried both methods below, but not working. 

Method 1: getSelectedRows();

var selectedRecords = grid.getGrid().getSelectedRows();

selectedRecords.forEach(function (record) {

 // Uncheck the selected record

 record.isSelected(false);

Method 2: just uncheck every single row if any is checked.
